Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe in my opinion are the hardest working duo in music. They have taken music to a new dimension. Modern acts struggle to last this long.
Yeah I just fully rediscovered them as a 21year old university student this last week. It must have been so cool to have recoginez them as innovative musicians 30 years ago.
I grew up in the 1980’s and I thought this guy was a few years older then me, he’s old enough to be my dad. He sounds absolutely great, his voice didn’t change at all. He has great taste in his clothes.

I think I’ve read somewhere that now a days music companies base a lot of their music that put money into on the sounds and pitches most pleasant to listeners’ ears, so mainstream music is a lot more safer and less experimental for net profit gain in sales. This is not a remix track. this is a great 2019 version by PSB. The rhythm is awesome and new style but only the legendary vocal is still now unchanged which I had heard first in my school life. A deep respect from India.

I was vaguely aware of Pet Shop Boys when they first arrived on the scene, but didn't really appreciate them until the late 90s when I was tending bar. They were (and still are) one of the greatest 80s groups ever. I remember the very first day of MTV, we all stayed home from college and just sat in front of the TV, spellbound. We were all in love with Martha Quinn lol. In the early days of MTV, they didn't have commercials, it was video after video, one great unknown group with a great video after another. So many awesome videos, so many great songs. I wish I could go back to 1982 and live it all over again. I'm so thankful for RUclips and all the incredible memories I find here, it's like having my own time machine.
I was a kid in the 80's and was never a fam of pet shop boys, but I did like their music and they could kick out some cracking sounding tunes, and most of their lyrics are about heartbreak and life, but there's not many bands that can have you tapping your foot, and even making tunes that get the nostalgic juices flowing. Good to hear this music again 😊👍
