- Here is a quick review of the Wally Jay Small Circle JuJitsu hand flow drills.I then pick it up with Master Robert Doiron's Wrist release exercises from Hap Ki do a modern eclectic korean blend of martial arts with Japanese influences During and after world war II.
Known as "the co ordinated way of power" or "the way of Harmony".
Yes often in my jujitsu class in Atlanta. Its just a pleasure to see others in the Art doing and making it happen. So many people want to down others in the arts for this reason or the other and I just wanted you to know I liked what I saw and will share it with my dojo brothers and sisters. Seeing power in a calm setting is great..no muscles needed..mad cool
I will try this week to break down your questions via a video this week.remember that this video was only demonstrating the sequence and science of the lock.I will show setup and application in the next video
@DTGtaihojutsu thank you.I believe its really important to practice and understand the small joint locks and not just the more popular ground submissions for selfm protection and street savvy escapes.
Hi Samir, nice stuff. Our CSSD/SC is blended with hapkido and kickboxing so it's cool to see some of the other CSSD/SC crew using all the arts within their training! keep up the good work. Daz CSSD/SC UK
All this stuff has been around for a long time-just seems to rotate every ten years to whats most popular.
Nice mention of combative application of Aikido (sankyo).
Its a form of distraction.A concept to break their equilibrium.It teaches to break the line of the oppponents power,his focus and redirect it.
the greatest reward for my work is comments like this :)
Thanks for the support!:)
Hap Ki Do from Master Robert Doiron and Mahemet Khalid Ahlee,small circle jujitsu from Master Alexander Andrews derived from Late Great Grand master Wally Jay
Hap Ki Do includes many strikes also.Kicks ,punches and open hand attacks and defenses.
Love the video. I can see how I can mix this with Wing Chun to become much more effective. I guess MMA was always around, we just labeled it recently. After I watched your video...I have to get me some of this learning! :-)
This is excellent...thank you for posting.
Great! Very practical and logical!!!
Great explanation
Thankyou sir!
Awesome!!! Thanks.
@HommeHaute yes that is JJ
Very nice thank you
Good stuff!
2:07 starting here ,you could use these in a grappling tournament !
This stuff works....when you are 6"3 250 lbs fighting a smaller dude but not vice verso. Youll need some wrestling, submission grappling or bjj to deal with a bigger dude. You need to put them on the ground where they no longer can derive the kenetic energy from thier hips to knock you out. You take away there hips and leg movement. You take then out.
@coachderek10 do you use this type of drills too?
@WhirlwindWerewolf maybe even by tomorrow
Hi, With regards to 1:07 and 1:32, How do I get the off-balance to work? It seems like the opponent would be able to resist very well. If you could give me an explanation or point me towards another video that would be cool.
why the clap on the double wrist grab? To hit the thumb together?
@markomarko12345 thank you.Let me know how the kicking tips work out for you.
Hey, i want to take classes of Hapkido, but i'm not sure what this Martial Art involves, other than locks and submissions, does it include kicks and punches?
