@@Henry-y8b9q You are full of it. Younster you never saw them play. I am old and started watching in the NBA in 62. They are more skilled today as the league was young. They flew commercial did not have the training and made very little money. Compared to today.. They had none of the advantages of the modern player. Also defense was so different and no 3 point plays. Assists were counted way different.
Once a player put the ball on the floor it was not an assist. Do not compare generations as it is impossible. All the dribbling you see today was traveling back in the day. Or palming or carying it over. You do not hear those terms anymore. Also you can travel today. They played back in the old days as the rules were written.

Jokic is showing he individually cannot be stopped. He is the best player in the world now. Also don't look at FG% to show how efficient a player is. Look at TS% or even eFG%

Nick’s stat about Jokic being 1-8 over the two post seasons without Murray is wrong. Nick is only counting the series’ denver lost. Denver beat the trailblazers 4-2 in one of those years so Jokic had 5 wins in those runs without Murray (not 1).

The Bucks didn’t lose because Giannis was stopped by Miami’s defense. The lost because the Heat shot like 60% on contested jump shots or something crazy like that. When a team is shooting that well there is nothing you can do.

Exactly. If a team is going to shoot 60% on contested jumpers & 40% from 3 for the series you aren’t going to beat them. Period. If the Heat don’t shoot 45-50% from 3 for the series they’re lucky to win a game.

2:20 If you want more opportunities to score, A. put the ball in the basket, and B. get the offensive rebound. It’s not Denver’s responsibility to make sure the Heat have a respectable stat line; it’s their job to win, and win playing quality ball, which they did last night. Think of a better take Nick.
