I absolutely love this map, but I find your interpretation of how a typical game goes to be very unlike how my games have gone. My opponents have always tried to pressure my top left base rather than the top right base. They seem like equally viable targets to me, but that has been my experience. Either way, I have always been able to hold off the base push by building mega tanks. I don't even try to go for bases when I fight on this map, I've had much better luck attacking comm towers and then going for labs.
Oh interesting. Well the top left base is a bit easier to defend than the other one. I have seen many games where the top right base falls. But I agree that controling the 2 pivots (the comm tower areas) is prob the most important, so much income, and once you have that you can push into the base I mentioned, but it’s not necessary.
The fundamental of fighting Olaf is ALWAYS RUSHING Olaf NO MATTER THE COST!!! The longer the match, the better in Olaf's favor. Kanbei, while being very strong, is very slow in the beginning and prefers smaller maps to have his D2D bonus in your face. The major disadvantage of Kanbei was that sapping non-discriminated 2HP hurt Kanbei a lot more in terms of economic value. If Sturm, Sensei, Hachi and Colin were allowed, that would be a different story since they have very smart counter to global damage COs. Sturm with his ignored terrain D2D, Sensei with his infinite Copter command, and Colin with his bottomless wallet with his discount. Hachi... just using his normal power would be enough since both barter and merchant union cut the power charge in half.
Hey that’s me. That game was wild and great job with the coverage!
To me, this just proves how insane Olaf is lol
Olaf be like: 5 HP chip damage on the copter counterattack? Good, more charge for Winter Fury.
It was a crime not to give Kanbei Yellow Comet colors. lol
This was one of the coolest HF games I’ve ever seen. Was fascinating to see Kanbeis invincible reputation cracked
Kanbei might be strong, but global damage just wore him down. Once the Winter Furys start coming, Kanbei just slips further and further behind.
Awesome match and great coverage Humita!! Thanks for sharing it with us

Humita is the Owen Wilson of AWBW
Doesn't HF make colin less viable because everyone else can afford heavy units faster? Or am I just stupid? Especially units with huge attack bonuses?
Not really, cause Colin gets insane attack stats during SCOP in HF.
Olaf is so disgusting. I hate to play against it. He's got the stronger air in the game. Snow is consistenly very strong.
Lol yeah, global damage + snow is just too much
