    👍 I noticed your hair cut Jason, very handsome. That Alpaca experience didn’t look like the most comfortable thing you’ve done, although they are very cute, especially the little ones. From memory, there’d be two places I’d recommend in Cairnes…..a little sleepy coastal town called Trinity Beach, and actually from Cairnes, by boat, Green Island, you used to be able to do a day trip, lunch onboard the boat, and a semisubmersible to see the beautiful coral reef. Enjoy my lovelies and stay safe. 😍

    Hey there Jason and Jordan, Yes Jason I noticed your hair cut. Hmmm, not bad. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN !!! 🍾🥳🥂🎂 Whoo Hoo!!! 🎶🎵 I hope you had a really wonderful day!! I'm sorry the Pat had such issues but at least the oil leak is fixed now and will not be costing you further oil! Don't worry...keep the receipts from the work it'll help you sell the car later when you go home. Sell it back in NSW as it'll fetch more than if another state has to change the rego over. For NSW, take "The Lakes Way" before you get to the Forster turn off. Drive along the road through Bungwahl until you see signs for Smith's Lake (go to Frothy Coffee for lunch), Celito Beach, Bluey's Beach, Elizabeth's Beach and then Check out SEAL ROCKS. It's a great place for a swim and snorkel. Ask the locals for any info you need (you can also coffee at Seal Rocks). Then pop on up to Forster/Tunncurry and walk the bridge on a sunny day if you can.
    Also if you go the Coast road all the way you'll have to stay in parks or bnb's. But if you go via the New England Hwy, you'll find the single lane road further north has many bridges over rivers. These bridges often have roads down to the "rivers" and/or "culvites" cut out of rock to allow the road to pass through. On the approach to these spots you'll often find dirt road that lead down the the river or over the top of the culvites. You can often drive up these short roads and stay there overnight free of charge (one night only of course). I often pull into these when I do the trip in a day/night drive when I'm tired. You will get some road noise, but it's cheap! Often unseen by passing traffic. Enjoy the drive north. Shame you're going to Cairns, it's a dump (very wet and no beaches), but take the Kuranda train up the mountain and enjoy the township. I'll follow you all the way!!! Drive safe.

      Hi Mate the train has made the list - so thanks for your suggestions. Your defo right not many free camps along the coast but we have managed to find some and will keep your idea in mind.
      You really don’t like cairns do you? 😂

    When in Queensland try Fraser Island, Township of 1770, Yeppoon, Keppel Island, Airlie Beach, Shute Harbour, Paranela Park, Mission Beach, Townsville, Magnetic Island, Cairns, Kuranda, Port Douglas and Cooktown.

    • @gbsailing9436
      @gbsailing9436 2 месяца назад +2

      Don't go to Port Douglas it's horrendously expensive. But do go up that way to Mosman Gorge. With the wet weather it should really be pumping. Swim with the fish in the river below and ENJOY! Also try Hat Head, Southwest Rocks, Nambucca heads, Sawtell is a really lovely small town too. Also, Wooli Breakwater, Yamba and Iluka, Evans Head, Lennox Head and of course Byron Bay, and then any of the coastal town north of there on the coast are ALL good value.

    Hello! I don't know if you have already passed Yamba? It's a lovely place and there's an ocean pool on Yamba beach. The water temp should be warm enough for swimming. Also the Pacific Hotel has great views at the top of the headland. Cheers, enjoy your videos.

    There's rock carvings somewhere I'd say around there in the bush that has Egyptian symbols. Don't know if this is really done by Egyptians or a local. But there's a story of two Egyptian men becoming shipwrecked hey here and they were bitten by a snake and they died.

    Hat head national park NSW , about 5 hours drive north of Sydney , inland from Port Macquarie is Lady wells Chichester State forest , Warrabungles which inland and about 6 hours north of Sydney .If you want a really scenic drive , take the waterfall way which is very scenic with beautiful waterfalls and also Dorrigo national park . If you are going to Cairns in Queensland , go further north and visit Cape York Penisular . It us wild and so beautiful and it is the real Australia but you need a 4WD . All the above places are great places to see .
