Just discovered you boys - I'm a Turriff native that lives near London, you're making me consider a country membership at Moray! keep up the great content.
I played the Old Moray in June and loved every minute... the 18th is a fantastic hole which is quite intimidating, with all those houses on the right... AND that deep bunker on the left side of the green. But it's a superb finishing hole...
I have to say I am slightly biased however the last four holes at Glencruitten in Oban Are both challenging and spectacular especially on a summers day. Have to say Beefs insights very natural and genuine!,loved it⛳️🏴🏌️♂️
Best last 4 holes in Scotland? Surely Carnoustie - I'm sure Paul Lawrie would agree! But for fun in their own attractive seaside setting the 15th -18th at Balcomie. (I once played with a 3 handicapper who went 3223 - holing a full 7 iron at the 17th) Most disappointing, after playing an extraordinarily wonderful course - the finish at Machrihanish.
Carnoustie gets an honourable mention, but the Castle course at St. Andrews is up there with anywhere for the best closing holes in Scotland. Love Moray, and those last 4 holes are all timers. Pity the fairways are still the way the are, been in poor shape for quite a while now. Hope it gets sorted soon.
Class Video, Makes me a little home sick! but being biased, I think one of the best finishing stretches in Scotland. Opportunities and danger await each time you play.
@@thomasjn4471 3 good coastal courses at Carnoustie, Arbroath, Panmure, two at Monifieth, Downfield in Dundee. Then in North Angus - Montrose (2 courses), Brechin, Edzell, Kirriemuir and Forfar. Nine holes at Ballumbie Castle with their eccentric Cairngorms putting green (similar to the Himalayas at St. Andrews). But there's a huge variety of courses up there in Moray and surrounding counties - go from Aberdeen to Inverness and there are places where you see a different course every couple of miles!
Not necessarily the best but some of the hardest finishing holes I've played are at my home course in Pitreavie. Let it be known I'll probably be spamming your comments with Pitreavie as the answer to every question you pose until you come and play so I'll see you boys then! Beefcake was outstanding on this one, bunkers bunkers BUNKERS!
Kilnwick Percy in pocklington has a cracking last four holes! Honourable mention to kilton forest in Worksop

St Andrews is very impressive we must say
Excellent. I've now got no excuses for playing the last four holes of the Old course poorly!
Tbf neither do we, we still manage
