To even suggest that there is a cheat involved, because a fighter can get depleted, when losing weight for a fight, is kinda stupid. No one FORCED Garcia to SIGN THE CONTRACT to fight at a certain weight. If you can't make the weight without cheating, then, you shouldn't be trying to MAKE MONEY for fighting at that weight. FIGHT AT ANOTHER WEIGHT!
Garcia and other fighters won’t fight at their natural weight bc they’re scared of the fighters at their real weight. Garcia don’t want no smoke with Bud, Errol, boots, Canelo, Charlo, and plant. Them guys will kill him. So he chooses to cheat his body and cut to a much smaller weight, so he can rehydrate and fight much smaller guys.
The sad thing is that he could have made weight...he made weight to fight Tank, but he admitted that it was planned that way, meaning Floyd told him not to make weight. To me that is out right cheating.

I don't follow boxing, but UFC fighter Anderson Silva tested positive after his fight with Nick Diaz and the result went from a win for Silva to a no contest. They took a sample day of I think then tested after the fight, so the comment about no fighter ever getting caught after the fact is wrong. Also TJ Dillashaw tested positive for EPO for his fight with Henry Cejudo. His samples were taken around the fight and day of, but they didn't get the results until later. Some drugs require different methods of testing and can't be testing on one instrument so it's not like you test the pee sample with a stick and move on, they are using very expensive instrumentation to detect and quantify the amount of drugs in the body.
ETA- they are making the assumption that collusion was involved bc people knew before the fight. it's possible, but that's a heavy implication w/o any evidence.

Just to explain the weight cuts in combat sports you are losing water not fat. So you dehydrate your body to cut down in weight so in theory after the weigh ins you rehydrate and end up heavier. You cannot lose fat in the time these guys goto lose the weight.

No Devin walks around 20 pounds over 140 that why his eye was twitching when he made weight second of all I can't believe Ryan would dope up all credibility out of the window third of all the ped he got caught with does not make him strong it only help him retain muscle mass if these allegations are true that means he was using it to cut weight and maintain muscle so he would only loose water I'm am disappointed in boxing and Ryan ped do not make you hit harder it allows you to be better conditioned which can increase durability but because he was clean until the day before the fight the ped had no real effect on his perform beside ruining his stamina WTF is wrong with boxing.

The fact is that Garcia has been popped for illegal PED’s and purposely overweight for the fight. Didn’t fight naturally. One person actually went to the proper weight with no drugs to help retain/boost strength and give endurance advantages, the other person used enhancers to keep muscle/strength and lose weight (which he still went over) and that’s cheating point blank.
