this is bcoz your system has USB 2.0...Duniya ka fastest hard drive bhi loge tab bhi it speed will be limited to your motherboard usb port..So,purchase new motherboard with usb3.0 if u need more speed.

All are same difference is within software suite and harware encryption if you need you can go with one touch drives, I personally hate hardware based encryption drives due to the fact that data recovery is almost impossible by user on those due to the fact the hardware based risc 🗝️ 🔐 key is now binded onto the firmware and the drive itself unlike older drives like pre 2010 drives. Backup plus nd expansion series are vanilla drives without any hardware password protection or software suite bundled and one touch series are with password hardware based encryption that's d only diff among them other key differences lie in asthetics and accessories offered like usb c adaptor in ultra touch to hook it up to ultra portables which some have only type c port etc. I hope you get my point. Mind you all of the mobile 2.5 inch drives now barring only 1tb and 500gb and above are based on smr tech you won't get cmr in those.

@Techy Patshala, Sir Next time pls use some benchmark apps or try to copy large files to see transfer consistency of drive, you selected only one file😂 that will fit into its cache hence excellent speeds use crystaldiskmark and select options to benchmark mix speeds read/write 50% that will be real world transfer speeds not this😤🤦

Yeah all new drives heat considerably without proper cooling or ambient cooling the temps shoot up to 49-55°c on extended use in indian ambient temps i.e 30°c but that's normal they are tested for temps and endurance much higher than that i.e 60-65 70° is danger ⚡ zone for current drives keep them below that and you are good to go

Both same, similiar bro only difference will be in software suite is given with one touch series and backup plus is vanilla series similiar to toshiba canvio basic and wd elements series vs my passport I hope you get my point. In Seagate mobile 2.5" internal drive series line will be same as OEM bare drives ver. They all are smr drives with hardware based optimization and large slc caches and ram to negate the effects of smr drives. I hope this answers your questions that you may be having regarding external or mobile 2.5" form factor drives. 🙂

@@irshadsayyad9017 buy any you could afford as the drive inside shall be d same Seagate 2.5 inch smr af drive only try to use till 2 tb inside PS4 as o don't know about the clearance inside the PS4 case for 2tb and above drives as those are taller, fat physically due to more platters present inside d drives also Dey seem 2 be 2 damn slow compared to 2.5" 1 n 2 tb variants

The File System Format of the HDD is "ex-fat", format it as "NTFS" then it'll show your files on your TV.

@@Akhildmm In This PC "right click" on the drive and select "Format", in that select the file system as "NTFS" then click "Format". If you have any data then copy to the another drive since it'll delete all the files.

Yeah normal vibration is okay constant ticking or abnormal sounds like clunking or grinding or beeping are not 🚫 okay you might want to and should replace d drive asap and try to take out data from it asap if you have any kinda valuable, confedential, pesonal sensitive info on it and move it to a known good drive if you don't mind losing it. if it makes those kinda sounds.
