Moreover, local governments, such as France are increasingly adopting steps to reduce CO2 emissions within cities, increasing demand for electric vehicles. In January, the market share of new plug-in vehicles in France increased by 50%. However, with over 1.5 billion automobiles on the road today, finding a cheap and sustainable means to convert a portion of this fleet to electric vehicles could be one of the most effective methods to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles.
There are around 40 million automobiles in France, and in the best years, about 2 million vehicles are sold each year, adding to the fleet. The French government announced a €5000 per vehicle subsidy for the conversion of gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles through refit in April 2020. The latest rule in France allows for the retrofit of ICE vehicles older than 5 years, allowing companies to speed the conversion of these ICE vehicles to electric.

For number 3, originality, I've seen a company here on RUclips that can retrofit your existing car with no sacrifice to originality.
The company says the cars can be switched back and forth between ICE and electric, if the owner wants to change it, they leave everything intact.

I have received a concept and what it would be is an electric car with a ‘range extender’. This generator could be used with alt fuels like diesel, CNG, LPG, methane, hydrogen, etc.
There is one concept that uses a turbine, which is much more efficient with less moving parts, and it could use various fuels with minimal modifications.
Make an HHO generator and run it off water!

There is new Li Fe batteries that arent such a great fire hazard and are generally more stable. Research continues rapidly in this field.

You can use an electric MR2 steering pump. A lot of guys use it even in gas cars to reduce accessory drive drain. Just like we did when they came out with electric water pumps.
I guess cheaper batteries are the key. But don’t hold your breath.

not a new ICE car but my 18 year old car I would
I am ready to make the move to EV not so much to save the world but rather due to declining health with age. And as I am a product of the custom vans & mini trucks area I am in the process of customizing my second hand EV atv mobility scooter in an effort to increase the range & hopefully a bit more speed but the mail goal is the looks & comfortable us of as many multi functions as I can include . Thus far, I have added new body work to make it look like Custom 1900s C cab delivery truck ( I am looking for sponsors as part of my long range plan is to bring customized mobility scooters to the elderly & handy capped community as well as all the custom bugs out there, with scooter shows and clubs & such ) I want to include feturers such as larger frunt & rear baskets so I can use the scoot to make trip across town to the big box stores and such I have designed a set of add on components that will provide both this as well as give me the looks that I am trying to achieve . &it has come to light as I designed & have collected the materials to do this build, that a unforeseen feature can be had in my overall design. by properly aranging certain element that will already be included for the grocery trip I could also have an emergency RV in which I could tightly sleep 2 persons of a reasonable size. I mean it wouldn't as comfy as a hotel but you could use sleeping bags & be up off the cold ground. just an odd idea that came to me as I was working on the build. I have plans to get more range by adding several extra sets of new small 12v lithium batteries in this rear added area that could get me as much as 100 miles that is a missive increase over the stock & tested by me rate of like 18 miles. now thats improvement. it should at least make for some looks on my nightly rides around town. well thats my story hint never ask a german his opinion on anything. We will give it for sure lol.

A good starter motor and a better alternator we get free electrical car. 5 hp motor starter and higher alternator generator is all you need and remove all piston head and remove the counterweight

Electric vehicles use coal energy that has been stored in a battery.
There's not a coal plant anywhere near where I live, but there is a hydroelectric dam and nuclear power plant. Perhaps, maybe 100% of the energy in the U.S. isn't from a coal fired power plant. OTOH, I enjoy my EV but don't try to force them on anyone else. With the same point of view, I don't hang out on forums or bash folks who like to talk / learn about topics I'm not interested in.
