my husband was a truck driver - northern cal to southern cal. he has retired since 1994, and so enjoys watching your videos. since he is disabled, he loves it specially when you go to familiar places, routes. i used to ride with him, to keep him awake. that didnt last too long, because the sleeper always called to me as soon as we were on the highway! thank you so much for bringing him fun and fond memories
Indiana Jack, I just wanted to say that you are a fantastic film maker. It's always exciting to see that you've posted a new adventure. I'm glad I subscribed and I can't wait to see your next one. Be safe out there!
Drove and retired long ago.... paper logs, Chauffeurs License, and Dr. Pepper..... really like watchin' your videos, brings back some good memories (and tough drives)..... I was a regional dedicated company driver so I didn't have all the worries of a 48-state owner-operator, and it was what I consider a major factor in 40 years and 4 million miles without an accident. I must correct your one statement where you said "rain is never a truckers friend".... I loved running in a light rain because everything always ran cool and you rarely worried about tire blowouts. As a flatbed driver though, it wasn't fun unloading in the rain!! Keep the shiny side up Jack, and we'll keep enjoying your videos!
Thanks again Jack👍🏽😉 I’ve been watching Your videos for a few years now, and it’s pretty easy to say Your videos are my favorite show to watch here on RUclips and on our cable TV, so I wanna say thanks, and I hope to see Your videos for years-to-come! Thanks Jack- Keep up the awesome coverage.
I worked night shift in a Supermarket for 18 years (retired). At 7 in the morning I would leave and always look at the great 18 wheelers pulling in to unload. One morning a load had shifted in a trailer and me being small I squeezed in and fixed it. The driver was real happy not having to return and lose a lot of time.
You do the best video's that I have seen you keep it positive, even if there is some negativity you try to keep it it on the sunny side. Keep the rubber side down Thanks again Jack
Another great video i am one of your disabled followers here in Scotland and like you i was a owner driver but i got the cancer and lost everything.............i mis trucking so much. Keep up the great work Take Care my freind.
As always, excellent video! THANK YOU! Glad to see you are still posting actual driving videos in light of the issues some other truckers have had, i.e. Run Hard Get Paid, TrainerJames, and NRS Adventures.
I too am a trucker, and I really enjoy your videos. Guess I just can't see enough of this great country. FYI if your in Michigan you can enjoy Tim Hortons coffee here as well.
Jack, I learned a loong time ago, that when you buy pre-made sandwiches at truck stops, you should never read the ingredients label and never ask whats in it, lol. Happy Truckin'
Hey Jack i been down Cajon Pass many many time never knew the San Andreas Fault ran through there learn something new everyday..... Save Trucking Jack and God bless
Thanks for another great video. I'm always impressed by your professionalism on the road. From up here in the great white north it sure is nice to see the scenery in sunny California.
Like others have said and keep saying Tks for these videos.. Sure brings back old memory of our days trucking. Oh and trains you mention, . yup another hobby of ours.. This video, you were close by our area and yup we picked up frt. about the same places you did. Live of a contractor.. lol. As all have said.. "Have more and more safe trips guy and keep them comming"..
Great ride..also we now have lots of Tim Horton's in southeast Michigan.they are popping up all over.some are like a couple miles apart...watching all your vid's . great job and always educational...
I watched this on 6/23/2018 - You had a lot of subscribers even in early 2014, and that's pretty darn good for just starting out. I thought I run back thru some of your videos I have never seen. I surmise I didn't start watching trucking videos and subscribing for at least 3 years back. However, your channel is one of the better ones that I subscribe too. ......... Canada is loaded with Tim Hortons, that trucker Josh is always stopping there, he's from Manitoba Canada which is pretty far up north. .......... I've always enjoyed riding along with you Jack, past and present.
Hi IJ! I live in upstate NY and there are Tim Hortins in this area. I've been watching your videos and joying them all. I don;'t travel to much and like the scenery. Thanks and best of Luck on your travels. Buffalo/Rochester areas 3/18
Cool, non flamboyant. Good business explanations. Good drinking trips. Me? I'm in the railroad business. It always looking to learn from the competition. Keep,it up man! Be safe. Jim Blaze
Thanks Indiana Jack,we ride along in your truck, just ,,that were quite and dont ask questions,,next time you go to Dunking Donuts offer me coffee rolls a.k.a cinnamon Buns, lol
I'm in Massachusetts, and I've seen a Tim Horton's in Woonsocket R.I. And there might be a few other places, but I haven't once been in one. I remember when Dunkin Donuts used to be just a New England donut shop, mostly Mass and Rhode Island, but now they're all over the country. We still have Honey Dew Donuts. I think Honey Dew is a bit better than Dunkin. Their donuts are bigger and the chocolate on the chocolate frosted donuts is better than Dunkins. I never buy coffee at other places. To me, most coffees are horrible, like battery acid. I make coffee at home when I want some.
Hi Jack, I really enjoy watching your videos. You make awesome videos about your adventures about trucking. I live in Grimsby, Ontario Canada, I totally agree with you that Tim Horton's makes amazing coffee and donuts. I haven't tried Dunkin Donuts coffee yet, I don't know if there is a Dunkin Donuts in Canada but I will see if there if there is a Dunkin Donuts in Canada and try there coffee. I also agree with you Jack that Starbucks makes awesome frappuccinos.
hi jack here in canada dunkin donuts is dying out now but tim hortons is taking over they are all over haven`t seen a dunkn donuts in twenty years were i live in brantford ontario....
Hi Jack: Does anyone like getting under a Rig to Inspect?? Here's an idea.....buy a set of Coveralls and a Creeper. They would store under your Bunk. If you wanted to look at things from below, just find a flat smooth Piece of Concrete, put on the Coveralls and lay on the Creeper pushing yourself around under Ole Red! Both are Write-offs so are cheap! Do a little Greasing, look for loose Wires, look for anything rubbing through....know ahead of any Problems rather than no knowledge and having to call a Tow Truck. On a day off, get under Ole Red and tighten all the electrical Connections and look for Wiring that may be loose in the Terminals. Vibration will send you to the shop, however, there are things you can do like tightening things. If you had been on a Creeper, you would have found that leaking Air Bag long ago. If doing a check in a quiet Place, you will find Air Leaks quickly! Anything like low down Clamps can be checked for tightness and any Leaks will be easy to see.
Hello yjack, I am a retired German trucker. I have been in more than 20 European countries. Trucking in Europe and the States is a little bit different. We have to make a 45 minutes brake. One can seperate the 45 minutes into a minutes brake and a 30 minutes brake. You don't find such big truck stops in Germany but there are many smaller truck stops, sometimes more than 10 at a strech of 100 miles, really exit by exit. They all have excellent and cheap food. But they are not combined to a coffee shop company. I always enjoyed the Dutch coffee "Douwe Egberts", an excellent brand, better and cheaper than German coffee, although German coffeee is very good. I disliked British coffee. That is brown water I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your videos. Greetings from Germany, Paul
Gotta watch out for those Swifties. A few nights ago I watched one nearly jackknife on a snowy entrance ramp to 75 up in Detroit. He was right in front of me........scared the crap out of me lol
Interesting we don't sell a Frappachino at our store. You may have been using the term for a general purpose though, which is fine. Than ks for the video! I'm impressed by the editing! I haven't seen it anywhere else! If you don't mind, I might just hit that Subscribe button, myself.
I like the 30 minute break. I know i will catch flack from many truckers. but having to stare at the road for hours on end can break someones brain if you know what i mean. taking a 30 minute break lets be take a breather and reset myself for a bit,. i usually take the time to get out of my truck and walk around and breath some fresh air without being in a truck bouncing up and down.
Greetings from Malaysia. Really loved your videos. Question...in this video why do you search for empty trailer?.Normally you wouls wait for your trailer to be unloaded and then use it again for nx trip.
hello, I'm a local California driver out of Bakersfield area, a lot of familiar places you were at, anyway, I don't know how it works when you renew your CDL from another state but if you needed just the written test the DMV in Shafter, CA (about 7 miles from hwy 99 if you take Lerdo hwy) is fast and you can park on an empty lot about 500 feet away. (so that maybe a better place if your early enough to get there before it closes) personally, I'm not a fan of eating those kinds of gas station foods, we don't get much exercise, I try to make good choices I like to stop at spotlight 29 near the T&A were were at in Coachella and make sure eat a salad from the buffet, or if its fast food eat chicken or fish and stay away from french fries by swapping them out for the side salad.
2 thoughts I wish you numbered your entries so I could watch in order when I have time to catch up and also you mention you have a light load on or heavy load how about the weight please. I used to travel AZ, NV and CA for almost 27 years. Never had to go much further though. Keep up the postings.
I see you had *two high altitude jets . at 18:22 . flying overhead in parallel. Looked to be quite a distance between them. (Yes, I'm *not from USA ! .. I usually only see the trail of an occasional jet over New Zealand, flying from South America to Australia.)
Most interesting video, thanks. Quick question: I have heard that California and other West Coast states have had relatively little rain or snow fall [or at least less than normal] this winter and that there are real prospects of water shortages and risks of major wildfires. Would you care to comment seeing as you seem to move through many of these areas quite a bit?
+vettply Yeah...I wish we had them in the West and South. When I drove where you live I remember them being all over. Drink a cup for me, will you? Thanks for watching.

Indiana jack, you make my day, as every morning you take me for a ride in various states with a great commentary of your daily routine.

Always enjoy your videos. Quality over quantity. I am sure Trucker Josh is proud of you for plugging "Timmies" Drive Safe.
Excellent as always! Enjoyed all the camera angles and behind the scenes, it shows how much effort you put into your videos!

Excellent video and channel. New subscriber
Because truck stops bring back the memory of a fuel up, food, shower, and a place to park for much needed sleep!
I'm in Massachusetts, and I've seen a Tim Horton's in Woonsocket R.I. And there might be a few other places, but I haven't once been in one.

The laugh you have at the end of your videos sounds like that one trucker from ice road truckers
I used to stop in indio before there were any truck stops. Just one place that had diesel and community showers.
I like the 30 minute break. I know i will catch flack from many truckers. but having to stare at the road for hours on end can break someones brain if you know what i mean.

*GOD BLESS TRUCK DRIVERS*
There is a TIMMIES in Parkersburg WV as well.
I myself, as a fellow trucker despise the 30 minute break. I personally think it makes trucking more dangerous, because I get tired after the break
Pilot and flying j is the best

Heard the qc beep at 6:27 and thought it was mine lol
Hello Jack ,So you know we have a million Tim Hortons in the Buffalo NY area. All have terrific business.
+vettply Yeah...I wish we had them in the West and South. When I drove where you live I remember them being all over. Drink a cup for me, will you? Thanks for watching.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY💓💕💞
