      @@pingsunday I have the expert, and there is not 'serve option' but it can still do realistic serves (it just takes a while to set up and find the right trajectory, spin and speed) and then you can save it

    Nice video! I recently bought a cheap Huipang HP-07 clone robot and a catch net. Then I did a homemade ball
    recycling system with a large funnel, an old vacuum cleaner motor, and some cardboard. Now I have a "modified" robot that can hold 360 balls! I can hits balls non-stopping almost until exhausted, about one hour with my less than ideal fitness level 🤣. This has been great during this coranavirus time!

    • @pingsunday
      @pingsunday  4 года назад

      Oh. How much does it cost the Huipang HP? It looks really good at my first glance. I've a Tibhar robot about 850 Euro. Butterfly Amicus is a too expensive than other brands.

    • @cilami
      @cilami 4 года назад +1

      @@pingsunday I bought my Huipang HP-07 clone for $173.00 from Amazon. The regular price fluctuates around $200.00-$250.00. The main "disavantage" is that you can't increase the spin without increasing the speed, but that is true also for much more expensive robots. For the price I am very happy with mine.

    I have the Newgy robot. Pretty good except mine doesn’t have a no spin serve😳

    • @jeffh7620
      @jeffh7620 4 года назад +1

      I have the butterfly now, but when I had a Newgy robot I found a way to make no spin serve. Put a pips rubber, or racket with pips, on the robot side of table where the ball will bounce. The robot serves directly on the pips. After the hitting the pips, the ball has no spin. You need to experiment to find the right settings and angle.

    Hi coach I have an amicus prime, It’s a gods robot but I would say that is big problem is that the head doesn’t move. So to change the trajectory of the ball: The ball is deflected when it leaves the wheels by a flap and unfortunately this generates a lot of undesirable lateral effect

    • @yonggaotang2274
      @yonggaotang2274 2 года назад

      exactly. i see the same problem. every ball coming from butterfly robot flies in a strange track because it launches then hit the guide chanel making it unusable. if you are new to ping pong sport, you may not notice this, but if you have real ping pong experience, you will see this right away.

    Hi Coach. I want to ask you that in my club there is a player who uses old rubbers damaged from the middle. So the spin is different depending on where it hits the rubber, Spin is inconsistent. Is using a damaged/very old rubber allowed in table tennis?

    you can build your own robot for below 200$ with all spin variations and diffrent balls every time. i´m building one myself rn. hardware is easy but i´m injured rn and dont have time to develop the software for a while. when i´m finished it will be almost as good as 1500€ versions

      Yes, I've seen some home-made robot, made by Vietnamese, and Philippines players. It's rather good. But for the commercial one, you also need the after-sales service which increase the robot price

    I think the butterfly amicus prime does everything a human can do serve topspin backspin sidespin .. and it's not that necessary to buy the 4000$ or 5000$ robot money doesn't grow on trees but the butterfly amicus is perfect for training. It's also expensive but they're better for professional training.there are 200-500$ robots but they can't be as good as the amicus. Sadly you can't play a game against the robot 😂😂😂.
