Che orchestra ,che potenza e che magnifica esecuzione con Pappano,un GRANDE!!!
Bravo, to you all.The spirit of the Roman Legions, in all its musical Glory. 😊❤
Bravi bravi...Anche le orchestre italiane, sono di primissimo livello....se solo lo sapessero gli italiani...
I heard the full on KING-FM radio and had to look it up because the finale was so amazing
Bellissima
Respighi un gigante della Musica alchimista del suono!
un crescendo spettacolare!!!! che meraviglia
Mitico Ottorino!!!!
auguri di buon compleanno!
Well done... delicious!
Grande Dario
A majestic triumphal march of the Roman imperial army that annihilated Carthage from the ground.
Just not the same without the organ!
There is an organ
Wrong heading. This is the 4th movement of the Pines of Rome, The Pines of the Appian Way. The whole piece is about 20 minute ong. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, with its brass section, is much better.
Do you mean the recording under Fritz Reiner?
Chicago sounds better but you have to remember it’s a whole diff style of brass playing
Both the Reiner/CSO and Silvestri/BPO (live) versions are very satisfying sonically.
Not as good as Kent Nagano, and there's no organ here (marked in the score fff)
There is an organ. Have a look at the last image of the whole orchestra.
