As per the new NMC guidelines , students will have to do an internship in the country they studied from and a one year internship in India as well. In case you choose MBBS in Russia without NEET then you can settle in Russia or any other country and will be able to skip one year internship from India.
2: Weather : You might be looking forward to the best university for MBBS in Russia but there may be chances that the best university might be located in such an area which has extreme temperatures.
Harsh weather is one of the biggest disadvantages of MBBS in Russia. However the solution is also available for the same. The student must choose a university which is located in the region of moderate temperature.
In case you want to choose a university which is located in any such area then also there are preventive measures. The hostels and universities are centrally heated and the snow jackets and boots are made in such a way that it prevents extreme temperatures.
3: Food : While you start your admission process for MBBS in Russia you must be aware about the availability of Indian mess in the university. As all the universities do not have Indian mess.
The other concern is the number of meals , as most of the Indian mess offers 2 meals in a day.
4: Travel: Another disadvantage of MBBS in Russia is the travel time and cost of travel. The travel time is long from India and as well as expensive.

My fear is of low passing ratio of fmge, I don't care of food, climate etc etc, i can adjust in all, but the level of study occur in Russian universities does not make us able to clear fmge, i don't want to compromise in studies, score 585 this year, and confused in taking mbbs in Russia or not :)

Look russia has the most fmge passing rate as compared to other countries it simply depends on the university that you choose. If you concentrate on your studies and clearing fmge it is worth it. Even students in india take a break for neet pg considering that next will take place in the upcoming years no matter you study in india or abroad it is you who have to study. I have seen alot of doctors who studied in russia become successful doctors in india and one of my cousin is in uk doing her pg after mbbs in Russia. So it's you who have to decide.

dude same. i scored 575 and i had the same doubt regarding fmge passing percentage. but this is what a counsellor told me and if you think of it, it makes sense. she told "students who go to russia only score the qualifying marks, obviously they may not be fit for mbbs but they still do it because they have an option of abroad. hence when such people give the fmge exam, they dont pass"
now this is kinda judgemental but also true in a way. so she told me to not worry alot about the fmge passing ratio. the only thing we can do is pick a reputed Institute with good clinical exposure and do our best
