@@Stuart-r9f Having a store of value is so much more than a hobby, it's a lifestyle shift. We curb spurious spending and we know what to do with devaluing currency when it's not required for anything.
I own a sovereign coin because of you, and its one of my best decision I ever made listening to you. Thank You. Since I bought it, gold is 1000 USD more expensive per ounce. The tought of financial security which that little coin can provide(along with the other ones) its well worth the price anytime!
Nice stack, I am a heavy silver stacker and am wanting to up my gold. Hopefully the silver to gold ratio will someday narrow and I can move a portion into gold. Keep stacking

Just get started. Silver stick with 1oz coins or rounds. Gold ! If you have the money to convert get 1 oz coin if not then start where your budget allows you . 1/4 oz perhaps . That's a great question I guess it depends how we define rare, some of the shield sovereign dates are harder to come by along with some of the less common mintmarks I have on KGV sovs (like 1924 M and P for eg) but in terms of mintage probably lowest mintages would be the Ottawa sovereigns of KGV I think
@@SovereignSaurus I recently started collecting about a year ago find it fascinating the different years and mintage with different coins I have got extremely lucky meeting a collector who is now a good friend he gives me first pick on his collection. I managed to get a 1820 half sovereign the other week along with a 1821 full sovereign both splendid to look at and well below the current price both very good condition. These are the centre pieces of my collection. I find the whole thing so interesting their is so much to learn, their is something about holding a coin in your hand that is over 200 years old the events to what was happening when this coin was in someone’s pocket. Wish I started years ago thank you for sharing your video.

You and me both!... You might be able to find a local coin shop or dealer perhaps otherwise likely the 2nd hand market although caution required there too
