These videos of yours are extremely helpful for me as a beginner on Fusion 360! Besides the useful methods covered it is also easily comprehended. Thanks a bunch for the time and effort!
@@TEXDesignEngineering Scaled locomotives and trains modeling and 3D printing. I moved to your technic, and I was able to design roofs and other curved survaces in minutes. Thanks again!
I am unsure why, but using the patch tool results in a giant bulbous shape to be produced, however, when I use the loft tool, using two of the lines as profiles, and the other two as rails, I can create the smooth bonnet shape we are going for.
What would stop a completed and joint sketch from forming a surface patch? Currently having the problem that I click the patch tool and can select all sides of my sketch in one click but it won't allow me to click ok to form a patch? Please help
Hey! I've experienced that too. If the edge/ curve of the patch is not fully connected with your new sketch, then it will mostly probably not path. I recommend making a new line on your current sketch that matches that of the patch. Hopefully that should work!
Ohhh I found why!!! Probably You put one end of line in 0,0,0 point of coordinate system, so try zoom in on this end of line right click on the 0,0,0 point and choose delete coindence ;)
@@TEXDesignEngineering I still can't do it, i don't know what's wrong and when i looked at the coordinates that @Librax0 said they weren't all 0, please help!
