Main worry for those who are planning to study in Charles is the passing rate. Could you please explain the grading component in first year. I mean what are the subjects which will be graded, how much will be the weightage for weekly tests, how much will be for practicals, slide tests etc. Also how much does the oral exam counts. Nice to know that in detail.
This is soo helpful & informative!! Thanks a ton. Just a lil query... I'm planning on applying for the general medicine course at First Faculty in English language. On the website it shows that we'd be required to take compulsory Czech language classes. How are those classes and are they graded? What if we aren't able to perform that well on the language classes??
Don't worry about it. It should be fine. Just make sure you learn Czech properly from first year itself, to form the proper base for it. In first year, Czech will be the least of your worries.
@@medschoolshenanigans5698 Phew! Good to know... Thank you so much for helping!! I would love to learn Czech but Idk anything abt it so I'm a lil scared... Will they grade us for Czech? (Also, how's the international crowd? Are the ppl welcoming at the Uni?)
Is there enterence test in talking admission in MBBS is there But in studying in Czech language there is no test we can get admission is it please Tell you feedback on it.
Nice video, but I wonder is many people failing the first year? or second? In Budapest for example alot of people are repating, because its so hard to pass.
It is quite difficult to pass exams here as well, with first year being hard for most, since it takes time to get used to the system and method of study
The exams are definitely tough, but if you work hard and study consistently you can definitely pass the tests/ exams. The key is to make sure you know the points the examiner would like to hear and make sure you're fully prepared for the exam rather than going in unprepared. And do know there are 3 attempts for all exams in the preclinical years.
@@medschoolshenanigans5698 Thank you so much ! I am quiet scared of the oral tests because of my pronunciation skill. Besides, can you say about the grading system of university ? And you said that the students will have weekly oral tests. So do they have enough time to study ?
Could you please talk about the entrance exam and how best to prepare for it? I’m used to preparing for entrance exams with sample tests, are there books for this, even in Czech?
Hi, I find your video very helpful. My son has just passed the exam for the First Faculty for medicine program. He’s a bit quiet or introvert. Does this institution suit him where you mention that exams are oral? Otherwise, he’s a good student and studied at a top British school in Bahrain. He’s also disciplined and hardworking. Please comment. Thanks
Hi, senior i will be joining first faculty by October so, u know about this pandemic and stuff so the things r going to go online. I would really appreciate if you could upload video for international students who r arrive this year and what facilities they have during quarantine. I would like to have your contact as well.
Once you arrive you can get tested at the University( just search lF1 covid test). the University will continue to support distant learning until the daily covid numbers go down
could you make a video about how you got into the university?

@@LamNguyen-sw1ul the weekly tests won't be oral but rather written. For anatomy you'll have slide(ppt) tests and for histology it'll be mcq
Exellent
