  • This is 300zx is my drift project... This video is to show you some of the challenges I face drifting my 300zx, and some of the inherent flaws. The 2+0 N/A is front heavy, has a short wheel base, and the rear subframes often need tons of work (wheel hop). This DOESN'T mean you can't drift it, in fact I love the quirky characteristics of the car, and I like the challenge. I'm excited to learn more about the car, how to drift it, and build it into capable drift car. I love hearing all of your guys' comments and experience! Thanks for Watching!

I've done all adjustables and coilovers on my z32 na slicktop and it has 220k on it. Isn't the most ideal chassis but I love sliding her.

I learned to drive a manual In a 93 300zx twin turbo. Belive me, you can absolutely drift in a 300zx. The guy that owned it was a master at it. He once on a whim drifted around a friend's car in a parking lot while standing out of the t-top. He was tall. I was in the passenger seat at the time.

If you can only drift your car in 1st gear, don't drift your car

Your car looked like it was about fall apart. Maybe that’s why you can’t drift?

With stock suspension, you gotta shift that weight around to your advantage and countersteer early. Good stuff 👍

Get a welded diff so you dont deal with old worn out stock lsd problems opening on you, bucket seat will help you be in better control and not yeet the car into a ditch, and better suspension will get rid of that body roll/make car movements more predictable. A lot of your issue is banana handing the wheel and not enough experience driving (we all start here). Start messing with tires pressures now and make it a habit. Keep at it dude! Cheers! ✌️

I found the short wheel base, underpowered and heavy made these a death trap for drifts 🤣

great video and thumbnail. try a welded diff and more momentum when using 2nd. i drift a g35 and our cars have no acceleration in drift whatsoever so you need all the entry speed you can get. great driving, would love to see a followup video

drifting is a vicious cycle of having fun, something breaking, replacing it, and so on
