Thank you so much for this! I'm 55 years old, and have been racing (off and on) since the late 90's. I started out bashing Losi stadium trucks in the mid 90's, and then actually racing nitro truggies around early 2,000's. I now race 4wd 1/8 Ebuggy, and 1/10 Ebuggy. Through the years, I've been back of the pack, mid pack, and a dozen or so podiums. I finally learned that the "slower is faster" saying has merit. I've found myself obsessed (literally) with setup, and received some great advice through the years, but only in bits and pieces. No fault of the advice givers of course, it's just that, that's what you get when trying to correct a specific problem, or try to achieve a certain outcome for a given situation (like approaching a certain jump, or how to attack a certain woop section, etc). I've googled and RUclipsd rc racing "clinics", and "RC driving techniques", and "how to be faster at RC", all leading to SPECIFIC (single) scenarios, or problems. That's great, but it doesn't really help with the big picture, which is what I've been chasing. This is EXACTLY what I've been searching! I plan to watch this several times, and study all this guys videos like it's a college course. Thanks again Ray!!
Glad I found this and was exactly what I was looking for! Awesome instruction! ...but that camera mic!
Thank you so much for this!

Great info. I love how you break info and technique down Ray.
Thanks for sharing, great video love the science behind racing. Great to see some friendly faces in the video.
Kept watching for a big spider to bite someone or a kangaroo to hop by.
Great explanation. But there is definitely a Karen doing the camera work.
I'm sorry I was done after the 50th UMMM
Cool story.
