The Kansas City Royals had an absolutely incredible season, and even though they came up short and lost this series, they have nothing to hang their heads about. making the playoffs a year after losing 106 games is remarkable.

It's sad that Costas is done. He's 72 and sounds it. He missed a few calls, 2 were from Stanton. The double in game 3, he thought that was going to get caught and waited so long the ball already hit the wall before he said anything about it being a hit. The other is the HR, the ball reached near the fencing and he still didn't realize that it was gone. I think he was trying to take his time before making wrong calls, but what ended up happening was plays had passed before he would call them. Getting old sucks, and you slow down. That's exactly what is happening.

Judge eventually gets hits, scores runs WHILE THE DARLING YOUNG PHENOM WITT goes ofer (not a hit in ten plus ABs ) despite an incredible season ..... also the same with Verdugo ..... he finally shines both Fielding & Hitting ...... Yankees playing un-impressively still BETTER.
Yankees fan here, but despite being excited for the ALCS, I gotta give props to Kansas City as well for at least making it in this postseason.
