I must have changed the element in my 20+ years old Creda half a dozen times now. Always did the trick until last time, where it still wouldn't heat-up after fitting. Your continuity test tip saved me, as I had somehow fitted an old used element which hadn't been thrown away last time - thanks!
I'm glad you found a video helpful, at least you know where to buy the parts from in the future @bobgreaves1716 this is for you ruclips.net/user/shortse432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
This video was so useful! We had exactly the same problem that you described in the video and have now safely changed the heating element. Thank you! A quick tip - perhaps use affiliate links to the products you wish to sell (if not available on your website, or cheaper elsewhere) in order to generate revenue.
Any tips on how to unplug the spade end connectors? I had an awful problem trying to disengage them, especially as the wire length was short from the back of oven. Thanks
I've got a hotpoint oven, my power went out for an hour due to a storm. The stove top burners work but there is no gas flowing to the oven. The glow starter is working and glows bright yellow-orange. The knob is not broken to my knowledge since the glow starter turns on. I restarted all of my fuses and unplugged it several time to see if the hotpoint stove powered up wrong. It worked right before the power out because pizza was made before the storm. Please I need help and your thoughts. Money is tight from the holidays. Thank you!!!
I have a Creda CF50E and I've taken out the glass panels to clean them thoroughly and now I've cannot put them back together. Any videos or how-tos on how to reinstall the glass panes. thanks!

Very clear instructions and visuals. Have ordered the element and feel much more confident replacing it now. Bought you a beer, your team deserve it.
