Performing the requirement maintenance at the required time will keep your warranty intact. Remember, document everything. As for the requirements to use only General Motors parts and fluids, just make sure what you do use meets the specifications from the Owner's Manual.
Denying warranty service because third-party parts or fluids were used that meet the manufacturer's specifications is a violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Thanks for info. A fundamental part of a dealership’s business model is to lie. A reputation they have earned and practiced for decades.

The true definition of insanity...doing things the same way; expecting a different result. Could not agree more...

Thanks Jim! Checklist will definitely come in handy. I appreciate the info about not needing to take the car to the dealer for much of this maintenance work. That answered a question I didn't even know that I had!

I’ll be doing more of this soon. There are several “garages” popping up around the country that specialize in EV maintenance. Dealerships should be taking note.

As far as struts replace when they go bad, other than that forget all the needless and unneeded maintenance. Most electrics require little to none when it comes to maintenance. Replace or repair when needed unlike ICE where maintenance is constant

Show us how to jump start this car or another car if the battery dies

If it is the 12V system that fails, you can follow the instructions in the owner's manual for "jump starting" the car--just like any other car on the road. If you are referring to letting your battery drain to 0, would you let your ICE car run out of gas? In either case, I will be happy to do a video on both going forward. There are services that will bring power to your car on the side of the road...not many, but almost every major metropolitan area has at least one.
