And if it comes down to it, you got a good supply of outhouse material. 😊 Those metal detectors bring back some fond memories. I got a few myself. Couple of them have some miles on them. I love relic hunting. Shops looking good. Keep at it. You will never finish. I’m continually changing things in mine. Please keep me in your prayers brother. However, the main thing I wanted you to know is that the LORD GREATLY used YOU to minister to my heart through the word and your testimony. I’ve been going through a hard situation in my ministry and I have been very discouraged and yes I have been struggling. But our Lord used you brother to encourage my heart my dear friend. All glory and praise be to God!
You have been making great progress. Can't wait to see it when you are done organizing and cleaning. I alway wonder what my daughter will do with all of my stuff when the day comes that I get called home? I helped a local lady clean out all the buildings of stuff that her and her husband had found at auctions for years. Almost all of it got thrown into the thrash, I found it very sad. A life times worth of stuff just thrown away. I would have a hard time deciding what to do with that Case Trapper too. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed weekend.
I’m going for the cash option in the trapper. It’s not real ivory. I figured my kids will sell off all my stuff at estate sale. Im leaving them instructions on who to call and what to do. They can split the money and enjoy their lives. It doesn’t mean the same to them as it does to me. I was there when me and my dad collected most of it all. I was the lucky one who got to pack it all to the truck 😂. It’s a mess but also a ton of memories. God bless you Stan!
Hello mar. Clark I was watching the vid about ivory, I had same question few months ago, material w consistent parallel line is almost certainly faux ivory called French ivory. The real stuff has lines that go every which-a-way, also by 94 I think ivory was prohibited for sale. God love you and keep you save sir. Michigan Dan

Spent 20 years and a bunch of dough getting it right. Then sold it like an idiot! I love these videos and seeing all the old stuff and trips down memory lane! But I gotta admit, ending it with the word and a discussion centered on a kingdom of heaven is epic! And the advice you give to never give up on your prayers is absolutely priceless! I believe I would have Case check and if that knife has ivory handles I would leave the ivory side and have white bone or white synthetic, put on by Case, on the other side. Just a thought. OR you could take the credit from Case and buy a knife then have the Knife Doctor replace the broken handle with white synthetic. That way you get two knives! Put that Bluegrass hammer sign on the wall up in that building! It doesn’t need to be put away in that box! It needs to be where people can see it! Just a suggestion. God bless you brother!

Yeah we got all three Sears, Montgomery Ward and JC Penny. I’d look for hours. There’s more catalogs somewhere, may be up in the attic. I wish they still gave them out. I’m not a web browsing guy. Brother I have been running into all kinds of shipping issues mailing out knives I have sold on ebay, it started before Christmas. Usually it takes 3-4 days to get to the buyer, now it's taking a week.

Option A or B are the ones in my opinion. If it is real ivory and you can determine it is 100% real ivory then probably option B because you might not ever see one again. Unless you don’t care. Option A is very appealing. Trappers, sodbuster juniors, copper locks. Lots of great options.

I’ve always heard that the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. So I try to take a bite and get it done. Problem is I chew it too long! 😂 I hate getting rid of stuff! I had all kinds of coffee cans and 5 gallon buckets, full of nuts bolt screws, and nails. I would say one of these days I might need them. The other day I made a decision got up and took him to the scrapyard! He kind of hurt my feelings at first, but I’m getting over it! 😁 As far as the ivory handle case ….. that’s a tough call! But if it were me, to Soddys for 1 will be my deal!😁

Real ivory has Shregar lines in it brother, and it will yellow with age. I believe that is real ivory on your knife.
