Why did he negate Numeron Dragon's attack? It was attacking with literally 0 on a 2000 Defense monster! Then next turn summon anyone from hand to attack into still Attack Position Numeron for game. Like, I really don't get what his plan was, did he think Electromagnetic Turtle had to be activated immediately?

@@zsorens4570 Numeron Dragon says: " Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; this card gains ATK equal to the combined Ranks of all Xyz Monsters currently on the field" So it shouldn't be able to be activated in the battle phase as it's not a quickeffect, I think.

I feel like this idea would be more fun if you faced other people each week who are also playing completely random decks instead of seeing a 2400 attack monster and surrendering. Like the idea is fun but where do you even go from here? Are you going to open a pack if you win? Because then you start making a not so random deck and it's the same thing as masochist, just on a second day of the week. If you just randomize every episode, you're never going to get past the instantly losing to a 2400 attack monster except by pure luck. To keep with the random theme you could, if you win, you get to open a pack, but if you want to use a card(s) from the pack you have to do a 1 - 43 number generator to see which card in your deck gets replaced, but if you hit 43 you have to just raw add it to your deck. That's still just masochist though but somehow more painful. I love a lot of your content, but for now, this is kind of a miss for me.
The early games in Masochist were really, really bad and not fun to watch in the same way these games were, and made me initially think that Masochist wouldn’t be an interesting series at all. What made it good was seeing cards (slowly) get added to the deck, seeing the synergies build, and see the deck start to do something. Seeing weird, oddball cards randomly cheese wins against much more cohesive decks can be super satisfying. Watching bad decks do nothing because they have a hand full of ritual and tribute monsters they can’t summon and archetype cards they can’t play…is not satisfying.
I think the lesson here is to play underdog decks, not bad decks. Masochist gets fun when the deck actually starts to have synergies and do something. Hardleg’s ladder climb is fun because he’s (often) using a non-meta or underpowered strategy and seeing how far he can take it against good decks. Random piles of cards (including “royal rares only” and such) just isn’t that entertaining.
The real tragedy is cimoo getting bls by crafting instead of the structure deck
Cimo, you legit won that game have you not used that E Turtle in GY because the monsters ATK was at 0. Let alone opponent would've took the 2K damage and then after that, attack with a monster that's over 900 for game.

NGL, I think you might need to approach this idea a little bit differently if you decide to do this again, like perhaps have the randomizer choose only a few cards, and then build the Deck around them.
Yeah, I think it would have been more fun to open random secret packs rather than roll random cards until you hit a full deck, and every win is another random pack (if he wanted to expand on it, he could remove the pack from the wheel every time, so he can't hit the same pack until he has gone through them all.) The way is doing it by rolling random cards its basically like you're opening master packs anyways (obviously not the same sort of ratios of course)- not too different from regular masochist this way. We'll see where this goes I suppose!
Of all the numbers for Cimooooo to get, it had to be 42!
(There are many bot decks that have exactly 42 cards in the main deck for some reason. So anyone who might've looked at their hand thinking that they should just surrender, might've been more inclined to stay if they saw how many cards Cimoooo was running. Which would only be reinforced further by Cimooooo's equally random cards.)
18:15 - Bro really just said "they didn't read!" after the opponent *HANDED* him that game on a silver platter...
1) Activating Turtle stopped the opponent from taking 2k damage. Summon Brron the following turn and attack over Numeron and he would've won on the spot.
2) Ghostrick Yeti's effect would've activated, preventing it from being destroyed by battle even if he *HADN'T* activated E Trutle.
3) Even if all _THAT_ weren't a factor... you can only attack with the monster summoned by Draglubion during the turn you activate the effect.
Every time you needed a monster, Battle Scarred showed up lmao. The Ruxin singing curse strikes for the first time

I think it would be funnier if your opponent also had a full random deck aswell, maybe get a guest to fight against?

This was fine. I think part of what makes Masochist so good is the ability to improve a deck. This just seems like meaningless self-inflicted pain.
At the same time, I enjoy seeing Cimooo make more content that isn't tied to a series.
I kinda hope this becomes a full series
Finally someone else read the great continuous spell of Awakening of the Possessed, it’s just a good generic card for decks that use many attributes, sure it has the bonus effects for charmers specifically but like the attack buff would still go hard in something like Elemental HERO

What would be a bit easier for this premise to stick is instead of randomizing the amount of cards you're going to to have in the Main Deck, just have a wheel giving you the amount of random cards in your limited pool, so you can make a deck out of the cards you can best utilize within that pool, starting slots with 40 and up by 10 each time to 120 (If getting the bare minimum, continue building your Main Deck pool till you hit that number, then for each Extra Deck monster you get from the randomizer after you hit 40 cards you randomize, remove a previous Extra Deck monster from your limited pool to keep things fair.). Otherwise, expect no clutch wins with completely random cards that more than likely will have very little to no chain of combo or synergy against most players in Master Duel playing some optimized version of a pre-built structure deck.
Blackwing player had full combo and ended on FAM and Silverwind. Could've had FAM, Black-winged Assault Dragon, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, and Silverwind during Cimo's turn to pop and still have an extra level 4 to work with.
havent watched before. im guessing this series is all about waiting for the 1 in 100 game when 10 year old timmy makes the ultimate choke 10 turns in a row and cimooo opens the absolute nuts and plays perfect every turn
I actually have some yugioh challenge ideas for myself, relying on the random card function on ygopro. I stopped doing these type of challenges because I got tired using the random button too many times

This basically looks like Masochist episode 1, except the MD rarities of the cards aren't influencing what you pull.
Idea for improvement. Play other people in the same format and you each spin a wheel that tells you how many cards you get to pick to play. That way you have the chance to spin like a 20 and play a mostly competitive deck with half the cards missing or you may get a 1...
I think skipping cards that are just absolutely unplayable (archetypal S/T, the fucking ritual guy) would be more interesting, especially for early episodes. The deck will still be garbage but every card could have a chance to shine. That panther lady went hard but drawing the archfiend trap is dreadful

Terrible Deal doesn't negate - all it does is make the opponent discard a card, then their spell resolves normally.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but against the Galaxy-Eyes players, couldn’t you have let the 0 Atk Numeron Dragon attack your 2000 Def monster so they take the dmg going down to 900 LP, turtle the rest of the attacks, then on your turn, attack Numeron Dragon with your 1800 ATK monster for game?

Burning Electromagnetic Turtle On The Numeron Dragon Was Not the Play. They Never Detached, So It Was At 0 And Draglubion Locks Them Into Only Attacking With The Summoned Monster. That Was A Free 2k Damage From Their Stupidity And Then Attack For Game Over The 0 Atk Numeron Dragon.
