ICE CREAM in Karen village Uthai Thani - Botanic Garden - Giant Tree

In Uthai Thani, in the Ban Rai district, there is a small town Kaen Makrut were you can find a botanic garden. Unfortunately you have to come in December to see all the beautiful flowers and we came in February,...So no luck for us :-(
But we were very welcome in this Karen village and we had a lovely lunch!
After lunch we treated all the children to a refreshing ice cream :-)
At the end of the day we paid a little visit to the Giant Tree or Big Tree, very close to the village.
97 m high and 400 years old!
It is believed that if you visit the tree you'll have a happy life. Let's give it a try :-)
There is no entrance fee.
