Had my SE a week and a half loving the battery life and the fact it's compact as I hated the big screen on my 6 I don't know what people are moaning about the design is retro and sort after and it took me less than an hour to gain control of the the smaller screen ❤️
I still use my 5s since release.. In perfect condition since I've taken great care of it. Am still 100% pleased and it's never failed me. I love the design more than the 6 and so forth.

Well I´m just a student 16yo I don´t have much money to spend therefore I don´t need any extraordinary speed or 4k camera which SE has . I just want a solid apple device for a reasonable price. I don´t play games on mobile either I just want the nice fluent system with a lot of application available. In conclusion If I had enough money to spend I´d go for the iPhone SE- it´s obviously a better phone , but since my budget is limited I´m going for a brand new iPhone 5s 32gb which I consider the very storage I need :)

Managed to score a gold 5s on Craigslist with an Otterbox, all in mint condition for $125. Best purchase I've made all year. If you wanna try iPhone for the first time and don't care about getting into games a milisecond faster, I highly recommend you try Craigslist or eBay. Yeah, good deals can be hard to find, but it's worth it when you find them, and odds are you'll be able to do just about anything you would want to do on an iPhone 7 with this phone, with very little issues. I have the iPhone SE and I love it. They are very close. If you have the money get the SE but if you're trying to save money et the 5 s. if you want battery to last longer get SE if you want faster even by 5 seconds get the SE. it really depends on what you want and like more and what you're leaning on more

I would recommend the SE if you can live without the big size, because of its improved specs on the 6 plus. If you need the big screen then its a no brainer, but the SE is a beast in performance, battery life, and camera. Now between the 6S plus and SE, 6S plus is my recommendation :)

+Cuddle puddles Hello there, this SE is quicker than almost any android I have ever tested, and battery life is at the same level as the top android devices, so yes this would be a good device. Between this and 6/6plus is a tough choice, But I have my take on it for you. Really the only thing the 6/6 Plus beats the 5S on is the screen size, and slightly in quality. Other than that the SE wins in all other categories in my opinion. So the moral of the story is, if you can live with the size of the SE you will not regret it :) Now between the 6S/6S plus and the SE I would go with the former (6S/6S plus).
If you're asking about SE vs 6(not s), of course it's the SE! UNLESS YOU CANT STAND THAT 4-INCH DISPLAY. Other than the screen sizes, the major thing that 6 is superior to SE is the front facing camera (or maybe the battery in some cases only).

+Nuno Marcelino The iPhone 5S is your primary concern is cost per feature they are identical front cameras, screen, iOS. The SE is the phone to get of the two if you can swing it here is why: Much longer battery life, much better rear camera, and much more future proof because of the processor and ram. If you want to save money though the 5S gives you the same experience at half the cost and unless you put them side by side and tested them you wouldn't notice, hope that helps!

I"m pretty happy and pleased with my rose gold SE I got for my birthday as I jumped from a iphone 5 I had for two years with awful battery life for it's time note: I only need to charge my iphone SE legit once a day or twice until I go bed and put it on charge for the next morning so battery life is good :)

there's just little difference, they look the same and have everything the same except that SE comes in rose gold and has a better rear camera for those who like to take pictures (like me) but it has a small difference in the speed. i would go for the 5s although it doesn't have rose gold I wanna but the gold one :)
The main difference is that the se got more stuff on the camera and will be supported to ios 10-11-12-13.2.1 (3/11months more) while the iphone 5s will no no longer recieve updates untill ios 11.3 i suppose

From the sound of things you would do on it, you should be fine with a 5s. I have a 5s and do heavier usage and it's just fine.
