Beach-Ponies-friends-memories

Day 1
Brean beach Somerset - Billy Whiz,Duke, Smudge,myself, Annette Catling, Alice and Kalell
We arrived mid morning to Ocean Lodge, Where we got greeted and shown round. We unloaded the Ponies into there stables and got oursleves organised.
First ride down to the beach, Duke lead the way eager to investigate.
It was an ideal first ride as the tide was so far out it gave Duke chance to get used to the beach and new surroundings without the pressure of the sea.
The Seaweed needed some serious checking out and sniffing before hooves were going anywhere near… Giving Duke time, then bringing Billy and smudge into help made the situation easy and in no time at all Duke was happy walking over it.
This ride we just ambled along, with a few little trots a nice canter side by side and that was a perfect time to head back for a nice wash off and some well earned treats!
Ponies sorted and happily munching away gave us guys time to venture round and hit the arcades!
Early evening the pony’s had a nice roll and some time in the sand paddock.
Fish and chips then a Late night stroll on the beach. Ponies tucked up and off to bed.
