Totally agree with you on drawers! I really don’t understand why people have to open a door just to pull out a drawer. Just make them be real drawers. Getting ideas on RUclips for building my own cabinets.
Im in total agreement as I am currently remodeling my kitchen. A kitchen remodel should add functionality and improvements that you never had...and thats drawers for me. Its not just about new cabinets to update your kitchen.
I have been noticing how much stuff is never used and how much stuff is just going bad while sitting in the depths of cabinets. I also have been noticing how much it affects the mood so I'm not really in the mood for cooking when my most needed utensils are in the back of that cabinet. So I searched the internet for people's thoughts on drawers and your video came up. Thank you for your perspective.

Am in the process of building a new home. This video really struck home. I'm retired and a wheelchair is a possibility in the near future. Sitting on the floor to get to the back of a shelf is just not something I see myself doing. All drawers is a great idea.
I'm handicapped and fighting with my building to accommodate my needing pull out drawers in the bottom cabinets. My kitchen is very small and I sit to prep and cook. The cabinets that are here, already, are good. I will be going down to the office on Monday to see what they intend to do.

Doing a home renovation and you just solidified my decision to do majority drawers.
