That's one thing missing in today's films, impressive artwork on quad posters. When I was but knee high, and I got to go to the cinema, once every week, you had those amazing posters outside the front entrance of the cinema. I use to stare at the incredible detail and intricate art stylings used on the poster. When I went to see Empire Strikes Back in London, when the film was re-issued in 1982, the artwork on the poster was stunning. CBS/Fox used it on the first widescreen vhs release in the UK by Roger Kastel. I also loved the original UK quad poster artwork for The Living Daylights from 1987. Warner Home Video used the very basic artwork for the UK VHS rental release , but Warner did use the more detailed quad artwork on the 1993 widescreen vhs UK release by artist Brian Bysouth. There's many I can think of that still capture the imagination.

@@VideoTasties I blame the studios for creating and promoting these highly bland posters. If they wanted to, they could go back to this style of artwork, but it's all about moving forward supposedly. Quad poster art is from the past.

The censors were so obsessed with weapons in the U.K. the crossbow on Rambo’s back had to be removed.

That rambo part 2 is a weird one. He has a rocket launcher round jammed on the end of a machine gun😄Think its more an amalgamation of sly and the turkish rambo
