      Completely agree! Bhutan was such a special place. The rest of the world could learn a thing or two from them (especially from an environmental standpoint). Hats off to Bhutan for being as great as it is.

    Epic indeed guys, amazing video! Thanks for the clarification on the $250 per day including all expenses. That's still way over my budget, as I'm spending $25-30 per day. But it's reasonable anyway and I understand it's necessary to keep their country from being overrun by tourism. What an incredibly beautiful country.

    Questions gents.
    Can´t one freely travel without having a guide following you all day long? What about camping? Long epic hikes? Freedom? Free will????

    • @drnishalpaul
      @drnishalpaul 5 лет назад +1

      It is basically to preserve our rich heritage and cultural and artifacts we don't allow tourist on their own. Have to come through a travel agent and with a guide that they provide. It also helps us to limit the number of tourists per year. When it comes to free will and freedom, freedom has caused the world to be more chaotic and less cautious about how we misuse our mother nature 🙂 so it's very important for us the people of Bhutan and our guest to save what we have that the rest of the world don't, 🙂
