I used to only hear about Nick walker from Nick Trigili or Dom Cardone. He is not at all what I expected. Seems like a very honest cool young guy. Thank you for shedding some light. Fyi I dont trust much of what Trigili says but Dom has always seemed like a god guy. I enjoy Nick's perspective 👍
I prefer 1-2 warmup sets and then 1-2 all out working sets of 6-8 reps My chest day includes my biceps and triceps in the same day - I work a full time job, I train in the morning but it truly is a passion because if it’s passion then you never have an excuse Love this series, keep them coming

I am doing the IIFYM like you described it, Fouad. I don't have like a strict diet plan. I know my macros and I switch between "bodybuilding foods". I am not a bodybuider, but I train and most of the time I eat like one. So I choose based on what I feel like eating and it is allways clean food. I also try to not eat everday the same thing, to have some variation and different protein and fat sources. It works very well for me.
Right wrong or indifferent when it comes to the IIFYM diet I agree with Fouad 10000000%. I like having options during prep so if coach says rice and chicken and I switch it to shrimp and cream of rice as long as the macros match up to what the plan says it works great for me. Ive done it both ways and honestly I don’t see a difference at all myself as long as your using all clean food. With my job working on pipeline I honestly have to have options to be able to stick 100% to a show diet. Another amazing podcast.

Strongman to BBR happened. Terry Hollands from the UK ( maters class) did it last year. He was coached by his wife an IFBB pro. But didn't last long he went back to strongman. He competed in this year's WSM in the USA in November.

I use IIFYM but I only eat bodybuilding friendly foods. If you nail the meal timing (like avoiding lots of fiber before the workout and stuff like that) I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work
I know personally using IIFYM in the past I stuck to a more bodybuilder meal style. That fat macro keeps you from going crazy and blowing your diet out. It allowed a little fluctuation here and there throughout the day. Thinking back it sounds like I basically did something similar to Meadows and your diet.
Also, the chess question is a paradox. Guy 1 sees the future and makes a move based on the future. Guy 2 reads Guy 1's mind and makes a move based on his thoughts about the future. This cycle repeats until the game is drawn.
IIFYM Your macro intake will ultimately define your total calories. The calorie content of macro nutrients don't differ if you ate them from different sources. The reason people like IIFYM because they feel that once you hit your macro numbers, your calories are by default are met. But these are still suboptimal because of nutrient quality and nutrient timing.
