Has gone on for decades, i had a friend in the 90's who had to leave Israel to escape prison, refusing to go into the army. They are very brave and brings disgrace on their family from others in their communities. 'The cycle of violence', the weapons sales, our undemocratic hierarchies, and so on, the violence continues. Has gone on for decades, i had a friend in the 90's who had to leave Israel to escape prison, refusing to go into the army.
They are very brave and brings disgrace on their family from others in their communities.

As someone who made the same stance 43 years ago (different country and different war) I admire this young person. No matter what the consequences of refusal to serve the military, your conscience is clear, you've done the right thing! I've never regretted this same decision I've made when I was 18 and the trouble I went through was worth it. Thank you Sofia for what you are and what you do for peace and justices!
