I would set your look ahead to max, you will run into issues with it set to 20 with adaptive strategies. s they eat lots of code lines quickly and you don't want it to catch up with motion planning!
I agree with Chris. I have had not one but two machines not work properly during complex adaptive toolpaths due to this setting being left on default. Changing this to 500+ fixed the problem.
Thank you so much teacher for this video. teacher, i have a strange cnc this cnc no name but i use this program and how can i define this cnc on solidworks can you help me this topic
Mate just wanted to say thank you very much I just built a optimum bf20lv CNC mill from scratch it was a mission just trying to get it to home and use the inductive sensors I have 3 of them that work as home and limits switches what would you set in the homing and also the port inputs as settings I tried your setting and it flashes a yellow light in diagnostics showing its registering but when I jog it lets me go past the sensors. Warm regards James.
Hi James When you reference a axis or all it should reference Z ,Y, X ( go to the home sensor and back off) then turn the reference led green. If this is happening then Mach3 see the sensors and the input is working! since you get a led in diag. i suspect all of the above is working. Now as for travel limits they should use the same inputs as the Axis home switch. Also I personally only use soft limits.
CNC4XR7, great videos very informative...im looking to order the PM727 here soon...Do you find the max rpm to be a little slow for cnc milling? specifically aluminum?
Thank you, Great Machine Tell Matt Sam sent you! I would not delay as I see Grizzly has raised the price of there version $100. With the VFD and 3425 RPM Lesson Metric motor I think it will be ok as is But plans are to convert to a Belt drive and at the least Double that speed. Be Safe, Sam
Wich setting i need to change my cnc feeds and speeds are good but when i doo multiple parts the shift between parts are terribly slow. for example when i make full sheet of small parts.
@@CNC4XR7 i understand that i have but where i need to up the rapid speeds because i dont have it on my starting screen menu i have just feed rate and overide.
Most of the hobby cnc controllers are Computer based. however there are some stand alone controllers out there it really depends on personal preference. normally CPU based systems are more customizable
Thats something not easily answered as it seems to be ever changing. There are also many different configurations you can go with as far as steppers , servos, etc. Having said that My mill as you see it is at $4250.00 This includes everything you see enclosure coolant pump, CPU, monitor, all electronics etc. future additions will be Clearpath servo's , PDB and ATC plus a 4th Axis
im tired connect to breakboard to mach3...is not working....i dont knw what the problm and ....configuration...... i bought breakboard frm china lazada...... can u hlp me fo configuration... its my email- lxentertainment37@gmail.com
Thanks for your time in making such an informative video, clear and concise.
You're very welcome!
great video!!!

what is pros & cons using Computer vs using Offline CNC System ?

How is pulse of motor
1 pulse per revolution
Meu da configuration locked quando clico motor tuning
That is strange
do you know the total cost of the cnc conversion? I'm looking to do the same thing.

Hi. Wow. Your very good at explaining things. I’m new to this stuff. I’m having real issues trying to set up my machine. Do you have an email please.
Hi Andy if you have a quick question i may can help right here.
