OMG Spudgy is soooo damn cute in the background!!!!! He's like "I'm gonna take a nice nap" .......... "WAIT... Is that FOOOOOD I SMELL?!?!??" "Never mind who needs naps when there food!!!!!"
I live in south Texas and there is a ton of Mexican candy that is easily accessed. When you showed the dried salted plums, my mouth physically started watering because most small convenience stores actually sell what we call "Chinese candy," or the dried salted plums. That is my childhood right there!
The plum pits aren't meant to be chewed on. You're just supposed to leave them in your mouth for flavour, such as hard candies! My parents love them haha
The dried plum things aren't supposed to be chewed but sucked on. and yeah where i'm from they are called ' saladitos' which basically means salt. but they can com in different flavors such as hot or sweet or lemony
If I'm not mistaken, the jelly slimy thing coated around the chicken is the sauce. You can still eat it like this because it's cooked and it's still delicious but with the cold slimy texture, you wouldn't be able to taste much of it. For that, I think you have to heat the pack in the oven for a while before open it up and ready to be served =D
that thing you guys ate at 7:15 is supposed to be just the skin. youre supposed to slowly suck and chew on it. The sourness is known to get rid of giddiness and nausea. Its an adult candy, although i did love it as a child.
I eat those dried pickles plums when I'm sick because the sour taste prevents me from throwing up. When I was younger and had herbal medicine, my mom gave me those because they got rid of the bitter taste of the medicine and it was healthier than candy.
That's where Simon went wrong. He bit RIGHT THROUGH the whole pit!!! Mine wasn't that bad, I've just never tasted that flavour on my whole life! SO UNIQUE! I love trying new things. :D
When was in China I tried a lime flavored Lay's, worst decision in my life. Then I tried kiwi flavored ones, second worst decision in my life. But blueberry Lay's tasted interesting
im always so happy watching you guys. please never stop making vids. this was fun. it doesnt even have to be about kpop or anything and the doggy was so cute!
i thnk we also have those here in the Philippines is it the salty one?? and red ahh i dont know it just look like that but i think it is the thing that hey ate lol btw i like those too
Eating Chinese snacks are like taking on an unknown adventure, due to the natural of different tastes in the snacks you can find. Sometimes you begin to love it. Sometime it is just mix feeling. I love seeing your reaction to each snack that you haven't at all taste before. Each facial reaction is just priceless XD.XD.XD. fifth time watching this...LOL. After this video, I'm going to hunt for these food from the convenience store.
Actually the same company that makes Ferrero Rocher, does one as well with coconut and it's caller Raffaello, one of my favourite! You really guys need to try it, it's delicious! a nut inside covered with a white cream chocolate and then some coconut sprinkles on it!.. hahah I'm going to far Anyways thank you for your videos I love your reactions! :)
The sour pickled plums are good for sucking on when you're feeling nauseous so it is quite popular among pregnant women or for people who get sea sick easily. The ones Simon and Martina got were the sour and salty ones. There are sweet versions and pitiless ones too. Those are really good and addictive.
The dry plum thing you ate,is part of traditional dry fruit snacks that Chinese people have. We also have dry tangerine peels. But these types of snacks is something you have to grow to love.
The "seven-premium-whatever-it-is" is called “Ô mai" in Vietnamese (no pun intended xD). You have to get used to the flavour. There are many different kinds of Ô mai's. You properly got the one which older people like to eat. They are not sweet but more sour and a little bit salty (sometimes). I like to eat the apricot Ô mai. They are sweet but also a bit salty but just a little bit. But Ô mai is not for everyone :P
This was too funny. I lived in Beijing for a year (a decade ago) and I'm Chinese Canadian so I grew up with preserved plums and smoked scallop snacks but some of the other stuff I would've never picked up - not even if you paid me to! LOL. Thanks for the laughs. BTW, glad to have found your channel by way of FromheadtoToe.
Omg you guys got sea salt lemonade! It's usually a vietnamese drink, you have it cold to be refreshing when you're too hot. Be glad it's not the lime salt carbonated drink.
my friend from hong kong always used to give me those salted prunes type of things. at first i really didn't like them, but after being friends with her for years, I've grown to love them XD
I love pickled plums. :) It's like sweet and salty and sour, in Malaysia we make a drink with it. But I don't know what it's called, I've been in Canada for far too long~
In chinese it is called huamei. Basically it is like a dried umeboshi with sugar too. I noticed them in different countries like Japan who have their own version.
the cocunut balls look like "rafaello"... here in Mexico( i don't know if they have it in another contries ) we have another vesion of ferrero rocher ( or how ever is written ) called rafaello which is like your normal ferrero but instead if the nuts the outside is rolled in cocunut and instead of the milk chocolate is white chocolate
Yes, I live in Canada and we have them! They are the best out of the three flavours of the ferrero rocher, the dark one it too creamy but the rafaello is absolutely delicious.
Lol you guys are soooo super funny! Funny to cry😂 and this is probably one of my favorite vids on RUclips! Enjoying watching you guys try Chinese snacks and plz treat your doggy!!
Can u please do a TL;DR and talk about wat Koreans think of american music since obviously there is talk on foreigners liking kpop but not the other way around. I don't just mean like fanouse american music like one direction ect but can u show Koreans different genres of music and ask there thoughts on country, pop, hip hop, r&b, punk rock, rock ect. I wanna know wat they think of bands like black veil brides, pierce the veil, her bright sky's ect please do. TL;DR having to do with this
Those dried salty plums are called Li Hing Mui here in Hawaii and it's extremely popular. With those that you have you usually just put them in your mouth and suck all the flavor out and maybe at the end eat the skin too. There's also powder versions of it that people here in Hawaii like sprinkling on fruits, especially pineapple.
Lol those dried salted plum pits... so popular with the older gen, its really something for the gmas and gpas to chew on for flavor. Some chinese foods are good, but I wouldn't be so inclined to eat too much of that stuff since the food industry isn't as regulated as it should be in China. Beware of preservatives and msg!
+cozycushins HEEYY i love those, its not just for old people. you're supposed to eat those slowly because its realyl salty and then u let it sit in ur mouth. and i agree with the china thing... when we buy these we get them from taiwan :D
I grew up eating asian snacks and the grass jelly along with the dried plums were always one of my favorite things to get from the asian market. But now that I see Simon and Martina trying them out, it does seem kind of bizarre at first. lol
You should do one when you come here to Sweden.. That would be interesting.... Like.. Surströmming.. Oh God forget I said that. Don't try it. Even if it smells worse than it tastes just please, no... God..
Yeah, it's almost impossible to eat it inside... which is why you almost never eat it when it's not summer/spring... I used to like it, but now I don't know... Although, the stench is worse than the taste. It doesn't taste nearly as bad as it smells.
Oh wow Surströmming .... I honestly don't think I'll ever forget the smell.. (I'm Australian but I have a Swedish friend and the last time I went to visit her we were at her family's summerhouse and her parents and grandparents were eating surströmming, (lucky it was outdoors lol!) they tried to get me to try it but I honestly couldn't get past the smell.) I love you Sweden, but there was no way I was eating that lol.
OMG Spudgy is soooo damn cute in the background!!!!!
He's like "I'm gonna take a nice nap" ..........
"WAIT... Is that FOOOOOD I SMELL?!?!??"
"Never mind who needs naps when there food!!!!!"

하하하하하
I just threw up in my mouth a little.
I live in south Texas and there is a ton of Mexican candy that is easily accessed. When you showed the dried salted plums, my mouth physically started watering because most small convenience stores actually sell what we call "Chinese candy," or the dried salted plums. That is my childhood right there!
English subs are now up!
Yummy !!!
the adductors are muscles on clams and scallops that attach them to their shells.
The plum pits aren't meant to be chewed on. You're just supposed to leave them in your mouth for flavour, such as hard candies! My parents love them haha
I had no idea you guys added me on Google+, please accept my apologies for not adding you back sooner! Thank you!
The dried plum things aren't supposed to be chewed but sucked on. and yeah where i'm from they are called ' saladitos' which basically means salt. but they can com in different flavors such as hot or sweet or lemony
Seriously the highlight of this video is Mr. Spundy in the back just staring and hoping to get some treats too, suuuuuuuuper cute!
If I'm not mistaken, the jelly slimy thing coated around the chicken is the sauce. No! the Preserved Plum is the best! You just suck on it and savor the sourness! Like idk Warheads almost?
I agree
I honestly don't understand why they don't have 1 million subs yet. They are awesome!

Im starting to go crazy after a whole week without a video from you guys :)
The dried plums are the best! Been eating then since I was small. U gotta eat the plum skin on the outside not the pit :D
That's where Simon went wrong. He bit RIGHT THROUGH the whole pit!!! Mine wasn't that bad, I've just never tasted that flavour on my whole life! SO UNIQUE! I love trying new things. :D

The sour pickled plums are good for sucking on when you're feeling nauseous so it is quite popular among pregnant women or for people who get sea sick easily. The ones Simon and Martina got were the sour and salty ones. There are sweet versions and pitiless ones too. Those are really good and addictive.

Just when I needed my eatyourkimchi fix :)
Woohoo! Sorry we haven't been posting vids lately because we're in LA. We'll get back to our regular schedule next week, once we're back in Korea!

The "seven-premium-whatever-it-is" is called “Ô mai" in Vietnamese (no pun intended xD). You have to get used to the flavour. There are many different kinds of Ô mai's. The dog is literally me 😂 "GIVE ME SOME!" 🐶💗
I literally think that was the first time I heard Spudgy bark.
I love that Simon and Martina give the chips such a poor rating, but Simon can't stop eating them. Lol.
Man i wished we had snacks like that where i lived Asia always seem to have really go convenience store foods
I could virtually taste all the food you guys ate and kept laughing at Spudge!!!
The dried plum is like a cough drop. You suck it until the skin is gone then you spit out the pit. I think its called wamoi
my friend from hong kong always used to give me those salted prunes type of things. at first i really didn't like them, but after being friends with her for years, I've grown to love them XD
The coconut ones are like Ferrero Rafaelo 😍
I don't even like coconut, but those things are amazing. Can't beat the original hazelnut though. :p
+The Aura Tree The hazelnut ones are called ferrero Roche. I love them 😍🍫
Karina Kü I know. I had some the other day. :p I had a triple box of all three types last Christmas (2014) it was amazing. ^-^

I love pickled plums. :)
It's like sweet and salty and sour, in Malaysia we make a drink with it. But I don't know what it's called, I've been in Canada for far too long~
It's called Assam Boi
In chinese it is called huamei. Basically it is like a dried umeboshi with sugar too. I noticed them in different countries like Japan who have their own version.

I see spudgy in the background so cute!!!!
They should have way more subscribers, I personally love watching😉

the coconut things are a copy of Raffaelo, which are probably in europe rather available. XD
It's kinda expensive in Brazil, like a Ferrero Rocher.

It's chicken lol the package says chicken leg :) and ur suppose to just suck on the plums and then spit them out lol
God..
What is that?
Basically rotten fish. Fermented herring
Linnea Nilsson And blood pancake , and kanguru taco (robbaz made it, lol)
Yeah, it's almost impossible to eat it inside... which is why you almost never eat it when it's not summer/spring... I used to like it, but now I don't know... Although, the stench is worse than the taste. It doesn't taste nearly as bad as it smells.

I love you Sweden, but there was no way I was eating that lol.
Chicken drumstick! I almost bought another "snack" (the same kind), but it was duck/chicken feet. Hahahah
The way Spudgy eats is funny and adorable, especially the tongue movement ^u^
I lived in China for 5 years, and I can honestly say that I've never seen ANY of these things...😅😛😕
same xd
except the dried plums and Im Chinese haha
That dog terrifies me. 😣
Love you guys.
The moment I realize its chinese and not some backwards korean font xD
Those dried plums taste great in a candy loliop the sweetness of is nearly harmonious with the salty sourness of the plum
