People saying Metro is bullshit, they don't want it. But tbh they are ones who's gonna take the Metro And then they'll be like" Omg Metro is so much easy to travel!" ..I'm happy they are doing it. It depends on the price now. If its too expensive, they gotta reduce it if they want this to work!

Metro legere is not that important in Mauritius. We r a tiny island, we don't need Metro legere. Most important thing is Health service. Lot of patients are dying in the hospital, because lack of proper training and equipments. We need to refurbish all our hospitals. Instead investing on metro legere, the government should invest it in our Health Service>Prime minister should go himself and visit all our hospitals especially in Maternity even on the wards. They do not have a proper treatment, no hygiene, no hot water to take shower, no proper bed n linens, no facilities at all even for the visitors. There is a lot of thing we can improve our health service. Our A & E is rubbish, they do not have the proper equipement. We need well trained Doctors and nurses to act quickly. I saw patient dying on the ward, nurses did not do nothing, she said let her die peacefully, she drew the curtain, she never brought Defilib machine, she never did or try to do CPR She never press the panic button, she never call for help, all having a laugh in the nurses office. This is an acceptable for a health care professional My suggestion is to spent money where it needed such as Health n education. We have to train our doctors n nurses what is customer care n patient care. Patient is not getting proper care what they deserve. I shall l visit some schools in future and i shall give u my feedback. I am sure, it will be pretty same. Most of our school have no food hygiene, First Aid, toilets, no hotwater or drinking water etc...

Metro well i thought it be underground most part of it. If this will be on the road it very inconvenience for the public and the traffic.. what kind of progress is this since Mauritius is such a small island the place for road is none. Underground will be fabulous for all.. what wrong with the ministry of transport dose not he travel ?? Dose not he see the true place of metro.. Mauritius is not India with plenty of empty land around ...why Mauritius is following India metro pathe way..so many small merchant are making there living off road and making a honest living..
