I'm so glad you liked it, the lyrics make this song one of my all-time favorites. The venue is Les Arènes de Nîmes in France and this concert recording is titled Volkerball. This is the best recorded Rammstein concert to date in my opinion, it contains many magical moments and I'm still waiting for someone to react to the entirety of it ;). The rest of the songs are on Buckstabu's channel with subtitles, if you'd like to see more I recommend Morgenstern or Stein um Stein, I consider both as Till's lyrical masterpieces.

"Los" means "Go!", "Hurry up" or "-less" or in a poetic way: Free, wild. When he says "Wir waren los", he means "we were unleashed".

Yes, you're right. Till is really good at it.
This concert is from 2005. And I highly recommend "Morgenstern" from it. But you will have to pay even more attention to the lyrics. It is one of the most beautiful examples of Till's poetry. And also the song itself is, in my opinion, the most underrated Rammstein song.
Anyway, thanks for another Rammstein. To me it is pure joy watching your reactions to them. 🖤

you know, Rammstein's stadium tour 2022 ends in october in Mexico (all three concerts in Mexico are sold out). But next year they are touring again through Europe. You never know, if this is their last tour or not. There will be a concert in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, etc. Maybe a chance to attend such a concert. You will never forget it.

I have to admit, it took me a while to get into Los at first. For ages it just didn't click with me, and it was reading the lyrics that convinced me to give it another try. It's since become one of my favourite Rammstein songs!
I think, the song describes their career from the beginning
The word "Los" has several meanings depends on how it's used.. usually if you see Los by itself..ex. Los,Los,Los then it usually means Go,Go,Go. If it's at the end of a word then it means "less" ex "Namenlos" "Nameless"
By far the hardest Rammstein song to translate.
The only Los we know here in America is Los Angeles 😂🤣

I forgot to mention that the word "Los" when combined with the verb "sein"(to be) means something like what's wrong? What's up what's going on? Ex "was ist hier los?" "What's going on here?" ""Was ist los mit dir?" " What is wrong/up with you?" I am amazed at how complicated and different meanings this one little word has? LoL it's crazy! 😅

I was at this concert, it was fantastic and I became a fan of this group from that moment, I didn’t know half of the songs at the time I was only following an ex boyfriend x )
the arenas Nimes are 2000 years old and is a great place for concerts. the Romans knew how to build for acoustics at a time when microphones didn’t exist. it must be one of the best preserved coliseums in the world to the point of being still used today.
Please do the whole epic Völkerball Concert @ Nimes! It's insane and may be their best live performance!

The line "They are godless." has a double meaning. You can use the German word "Los" in different ways. "Los" means "go", but it could mean "Lottery ticket" also. If you connect it to the end of a word like "Gott" (god), you'll get the adjective "gottlos" (godless). Another meaning is want to be or beeing rid of something. "You got rid of him." would translate to "Du bist ihn los.". So the double meaning in this song is "They are godless" and "They got rid of god". This line in German is priceless.
You could go even further and translate the song title to "Go".
I highly recommend their live DVD Völkerball. I saw the concert back in the days in Berlin and I watched the DVD over and over. It's Rammstein at it's prime and break through at the same time. Rammstein was big before, but after the release of the DVD they became huge. Of course, we already knew Rammstein but we didn't expected anything like this on that day. It's still the best and best sounding concert I've ever been to.

Greetings from Berlin, I love this song. It's one of my favorites as like the whole concert. I have the DVD. This song has some gereat wordplays wich are lost in translation.

This was in Nimes, France. It's an old Roman amphitheater, built 2000 years ago. I like how this song shows what great musicians they are, all of them, the acoustic guitars, the harmonica, the keyboard player (who has written at least 2 books as well that I'm aware of)... And yes, the lyrics are about how some people reacted to them, in the beginning, and maybe still today, for those who judge them without really listening and who don't realize what great artists they are.
