Cheapest build, PSA LOWER FOR $120, PSA upper, $289, Romeo MSR $130, as for night vision, I want some pvs 14’s but haven’t got them yet, but I do have the digital night fox prowler unit, it’s useful for basic stuff, I wouldn’t use it for a SHTF situation but it’s better than nothing
Love me some DDM4V7! How are you liking the 4T pro? I did get to try one under NODs for passive aiming and the glass was every bit as clear as a T2. Love the reticle options as well. Agreed the nightfox is better than nothing! Sucks that there is such a barrier to entry (cost) for decent NVG stuff.
I’ve even looked into building my own pvs 14, by the time you buy the housing and the tubes, you’re only a few hundred dollars away from just buying a unit that’s ready to go, so there’s really no option other than dropping 2-3 k on the low end for nvg
@@SykesFW Every person I’ve talked to as well said don’t bother spending money on a T2, and the 4T pro is everything a T2 is with extra goodies in the box, more reticle choices, and a cleaner reticle in general (something about the placement of the emitter) for $300 less.

My first rifle was a Chinese MAK 90 I walked into a gunshow and bought with cash when I first joined the Army back in 08. It was 600 dollars. My highest tier rifle is around 6000 dollars currently, it's a geissele super duty build with a vortex razor on a badger comm mount with a full power peq 15. I run an Elbit RNVG setup that I was able to nab used on a great deal for 6250. Also single man cqb is dumb, but also unavoidable in some situations. Also you would be shocked what one man can achieve during an active firefight because literally no one expects a single guy to come in and clear a building. Ask me how I know. Also I love your MK18. I would probably swap out the SBA3 for an SBA4 for the aesthetics and the more solid back strap portion.
$600 for a MAK? That’s awesome. Would love to have one, but they’re banned by name in my stupid state. What barrel length on your super duty? I tried the sba4 and it does look better, but I was trying to keep this thing as light as possible. But that was probably 2 years ago. Don’t care as much about weight anymore. Not going on 8 mile patrols with it as civi. Thanks for watching man!
Yeah I remember when imported AK's used to be cheap as hell. Should've known what we had when we did. I wasn't actually a huge fan of the MAK90 though. I had to change almost everything about it to make it compatible with me, and due to its crowned non threaded barrel I was unable to get a muzzle device on it so the flash was insane. 16 inches on my super duty. Maybe the camera doesn't do it justice, but its extremally usable. It is a pretty large flood. Within 25 yards its boarderline overpowering where my 14 is autogating. Shooting at targets at 100 yards with the diffuser one and the beam is 50 feet wide. its a huge flood. The biggest selling points of this unit is the ergos, weight, and output that is as powerful as a FP peq. It does currently outperform all civi units on the market besides the MAWL in my opinion. The ACAL and IRIS might change that thought. Thanks for watching!

I love the 4T pro, I can’t find anything bad about it at all, the glass quality is perfect, it’s the best $500 I’ve spent

I found high spec pvs14 elbit tube for $3300. You can find some great deals.
I bought an $80 mosin when I turned 18... and... um... no comment on how much I've spent since

I like 14.5 and 16 inch carbines the most these days. @@LARPeratorsAnonymous
Firt rifle was 1500 and basically bare bones. All the stuff on my current main rifle is probably close to 5k ish.
Crazy how quickly a decent kitted rifle adds up.
What optic our dot you running?
@@LARPeratorsAnonymous romeo 4xt pro. Unity mounts with g33. Hux 556k flow suppressor. Cloud rein 3.0 light. Rifle is a daniel m4a1 ris 2. I am looking at buying nv soon. Still deciding on lasers. Im hoping the new holosun one announced at shot show is cool. The future will tell.
@@dar5647 Sounds like a great build! I wish I could own cans in my numb state. The Hux 556 would be my first can, then probably an RC2 just for cloner'ness.
Saw some videos of the IRIS going against a MAWL c1 and the IRIS looked underwhelming.
Hoping holosun cranks up the power, or the battery was dying.
Looking foward to getting my hands on one.
@@LARPeratorsAnonymous that is what ive also heard about the holosun. Hoping they can come closer to a mawl.
@@dar5647 Someone below just posted that Brassfacts got his hands on one at SHOT, switched out the battery, and it had great illumination.
My first AR15 was a Bushmaster xm15a2 in 2004 650.00. In 2009 got a colt LE m4 900.00. Then went on a custom dive and now 1800.00 plus. AR10s just dont ask.
Nice! You still have the Colt LE? There is something nostalgic about older Colts.
First rifle was a PSA Frankenstein build, think I spent like $450 total.
Most expensive is my main squeeze, I've put ~$4k in it so far; FDE Radian builder set - I rail swapped it to a URX 3.1, only one I've ever seen so far online. That URX is worth more double my first build lmao
Love Radian stuff. They built great everything.
The IRX 3.1 is still the sexiest rail to date.
Check out by general purpose rifle video. Guess what rail I’m running 😎😎
What optic and barrel length you running?
I’m not ATF but I’d probably take the vertical grip off the pistol, at least for your RUclips videos:) Great review!
It’s all legal my dude.
Not dumb enough to post things on the internet to put me in jail 😂
Thanks for watching!
Hehehe new to nods here
Your username is fuckin 🔥🔥
Man that flood illumination with the diffuser looks terrible. I’ll be sticking to LAMs with some sort of proper focusing mechanism.
Horrible of me... But i have MAWL on my MK18 but dont own any night vision YET..🤦
Just a $4,000 paperweight on the front of your rifle 😂
Get on it bruh!
Had one since Oct love it...ran A NV course with it... zero issues
Nice!
I know there have to be more in the wild with zero issues.

Mine actually went down during an NV course, VCSEL lost power. IT was one of the first ones they sold though, newer ones seem to be more "finished" product and less "prototype."

Im either going to get this or the zbolt ACAL. I know a lot of people want the iris but im the ACAL looks like everything I need.
That’s a tough one. This is a great LAM, but curious to see how the ACAL performs. Do you the weight on the acal?
@LARPeratorsAnonymous it's supposed to be 9oz when it's released.
@@RomanCatholic001 Thats pretty light for how the unit appears.
It obviously looks bulkier than the IRV and would sit higher on the rail. Fire button looks decent. If they have better QC and has the same output as the IRV, I would save the $500 and go ACAL.
But only time will tell on the QC
Well now the new holosun iris is out for $800….
Yeah I mentioned that at the end of the video.
I would wait and see how it performs.
I saw a a video of the illuminator and was stoked, it then read that was a FP demo unit.
I did see a video on Reddit last night of the civ unit vs a mawl and the illuminator looks underwhelming unfortunately.
How much torque did you use for the clamp screw?

Should it fit on the GBRS?
If you are referring to the Hydra Mount, yes it should!
The IR-V requires 3 picatinny slots for secure mounting.
I believe the Hydra has 6 available slots.

Wife confusion tips.
Buy all “pews” the same colors (usually black)
Let her see you adding and then returning accessories, this way she learns the “pews” can changed the way they look like.
Therefore she will believe it’s only one pew and won’t catch on.
Trust me it worked for years 😂
Hahaha I should pin the comment.
