Just because something is legal doesn't mean that it won't cause crime. Think about alcohol. If you doubt this, Google 'Marijuana homicides in California' and read about many recent homicides related to Marijuana. Legalization doesn't remove the incentive for criminal involvement and criminal behavior.

Everyone is blaming the guy in the truck. But when are police gonna realize it’s more dangerous too the public to chase them. Was her life worth that arrest? Apparently so.
