I got a kit from amazon from this company, even used the black ink on my wrist which held pretty good. Some of the needles provided had fabrication defects. I still use the same machine on myself but i have italian brand ink and cartridges. Does anyone recommend a supplier with european shipment?

This is a huge problem all over the world, this is what is destroying the tattoo industries, Chinese tattoo equipment is cheap counterfeit equipment, some even use the same names and they sell to anyone, so you have people all over the world using this stuff with not a clue on how to use it, so it’s cheap crap inks, needles, machines and so on, so it’s putting good artists out of work because they use good equipment that doesn’t come cheap, so trying to compete with cheap is never going to work, everything that comes out of china is poor quality and the people buying it don’t want to go through all the hard work of learning and paying their dues, Chinese products should be banned worldwide wide, most young tattoo artists these days don’t even know how to make up a needle grouping because they buy ready made from china

I agree the extra lead due to a crap at home solder is safer then Chinese industrial lead. I presume you expect them to boil their needles and tubes for reuse??? because if china crap is what they can afford the autoclave is definitely out of budget. Use disposable always, buy a magnifying glass to double check your needles, spend the extra 50$ instead of the 9.99 cancer ink or the car paint they give you with the 40$ kit. Most importantly don't let dinosaurs gatekeep you from ruining you life :) any artist woth their weight in ink caps don't care if you wanna scratch yourself and ur dumbazz friends up and that sure as shit isn't the reason they are losing business. Most artists are butt hurt because they had to be a shop slave so they would be allowed to trace a sparrow and some cherry blossoms, all I get from this is people who have been doing this for a while are intimated by the new talent whos artistry is far better and didn't have to scub toilets or walk some old farts dog, on top of paying to do so just to learn the technicalities of tattooing. which come with time and practice no matter who you learn from because drawing on paper does not translate into decent tattooing. Its far easier to find a old fart to help you with the machining if and when your "Amazon tattoo gun" start acting up shocking you or won't work all together. Tattoing demands the respect of learning and there is definitely a learning curve that your average dumb dumb off the whim bozo will have to over come to even get any kind of mark to stay in the skin. I've put in years of research and studies, countless well done shitty tattoos and some work i am very proud of my self for getting to the point of being able to do so, all self taught with resources that are available to everyone and with loads of investment into something I am passionate about. So yes this yap fest is warranted.

As a new artist, I feel a little bummed to see this type of confrontation play out in an industry that should be about innovation, respect, and artistry. Watching a CEO target salespeople over issues they can’t even control, asking them to call their boss - seriously?? In the end, it felt more like a show of dominance than anything productive. What did it really accomplish? And then, offering a 30% discount after all that? Feels very opportunistic..like you’re now using the situation to push more product, which is inconsistent with the aggressive stance you just took.
I get that tattooing has deep roots in tradition, exclusively, and pride, and when any one of those things shifts - whether it’s mass produced inks, new machines, or an increase in accessibility, it probably feels like a personal attack. But sitting down with folded arms and not raising your voice, doesn’t automatically show respect. Yea you showed restraint… but it was more like passive intimidation masked behind calm gestures.
My unpopular opinion probably won’t hold much weight, that’s fine, but if your product is truly superior, the quality will speak for itself. You shouldn’t need to feel threatened by inferior alternatives. A company stealing your names and intellectual property - those are real issue’s, being upset is valid. But I think leading by example speaks volumes, and in this case, if your product is better, that’s where your focus should be.

The biggest point is that most inks in kits or are super cheap resemble car paint and the Chinese do not give a single fk, the ink is the biggest factor for infection due to the chemicals and such as long as the needles aren't rusty which I've had happen a few times, common sense helps but the human body is decently resilient, how many hundreds of thousands people get tattooed in prison and generally heal up clean without contaminated blood or infection? Common sense is required when preforming sketchy activities use at your own discretion, and do the shit on yourself before using anyone els as a test dummy no matter how dumb either of you are :)

Bro they not only stealing his name and his business hes worked over 30yrs to build they are using it to push there unsafe ink products out there to the uneducated to use and then he will be to blame when shit hits the fan. he handle that very well 👏considering circumstances he was not aggressive and even shook hands and the end . Feel how you want to feel about it but put your self in his shoes ,respect to him 🤜🤛 for standing up for his and keeping his cool ,no disrespect to you brother but there lack of respect and education in the industry these days, ✌️
