Yes, she made the comments in response to being audited. And that's totally inappropriate, because audits are a fact when you work for a corporation. That's business as usual. Dragging publicity to them is a real red flag itself. Dragging BAD publicity and badmouthing people who are not involved in the audit is, at best, totally unprofessional, and at worst, a deliberate smear campaign intended to damage the company. Calling a *press conference* to ramble and swear about how badly you've been treated, without bringing a single factual statement or offering a shred of evidence, is a very obvious, very desperate ploy to try and sway public opinion.

I don't think she's crazy, I think she's manipulative. This video ignored all the red flags of MHJ's own press conference. Sure, she's good at her job, and she knew exactly how to market herself and that press conference to gain sympathy and cause chaos. Why do you think her outfit sold out? Besides the alarming way she talks about NJ (wanting them to only trust her, picking them young so they'll be loyal to her), to get a more balanced picture of this conflict I think it's also important to look at the financial side of things. She's not just a creative and employee, she's an executive who by her own words was paid twice as much as Hybe CEO Park Ji Won. And then also look at what she was asking for: even more money and exclusive rights to end NJ's contract, which would be key if she wanted to implement the "make Ador a shell" part of the takeover plan by cutting them loose. This video left out a lot of information and seemed pretty slanted in MHJ's favour. Massive companies are gonna do massive company things, but I think you're letting your mistrust of companies and appreciation for NJ obscure your view of MHJ. I'm also worried for the NJ members just for the fact of the predatory way MHJ talks about them.

I would like to explain from the business side. Min Hee-jin may feel that her creation/product is being taken away from her, but this is not true. I'm not talking about plagiarism now, but about her sense of injustice and her desire to take away ADOR. 1. She is an employee in the company, everything that is created by an employee in the company belongs to the company, not the employee. This rule is in the contracts and generally everywhere possible. 2. An employee receives a salary for creating something for the company (= for work). Her salary is a reward for creating NewJeans. (plus she gets a share of the distributed profits as a shareholder) 3. NewJeans is, roughly speaking, an asset of HYBE company, which is financed from the company's liabilities: retained earnings, capital, loans and other liabilities. The company's liabilities for financing all projects now have been earned by the company over many years of operation. If she wants to legally own ADOR, then 1. she needs to directly ask "can I buy ADOR?" and HYBE replied "yes you can, let's agree on a price." The purchase/sale price of the company will essentially be the sum of all the future cash flows of the company brought to date, and this is a lot of money. 2. Another option is that she can buy 32%+1 of the shares and get a controlling stake of 50%+1 (added to her 18%) and then she can make decisions about ADOR alone, but HYBE's consent is still required 3. All other ways to gain control of the company are ILLEGAL. I think Min Hee-jin had a lot of creative control =) But if she wants to gain financial control that's just not possible in this case.

They've made multiple posts on Weverse about it; they've even apologized to fans for the distress and negativity the situation has brought about. Korea's police have begun a criminal investigation on her for 'breach of duty' just yesterday. What else do you expect HYBE to do, pull a press conference of their own and refute the points to the media instead of to the judge? How well do you think the trial will go then, when they broadcast their entire defense publicly? After watching and reading a lot of debate on this (with one of the sides suspiciously using a lot of bot-like copy and paste scare tactics for its defence in comments) this is what it boils down to for me: I support BTS - BTS OWNS shares at HYBE - while BTS owns these shares I support HYBE. The expectation is for them to follow marketing steps that worked for BTS because they are targeting different markets. Min Heejin being the sloth she is, needs to beat down the competition to make her group look better than the rest. At the end of day, we have seen Min Heejin's limits. If you look at her career, she only did stuff for different artists once, and then she moves to a different one, because she cannot top herself. She does not know how to evolve. New Jeans looks like they are debuting again in this next release. Curly hair on Daniel is new~ish, but you see other idols were already having one curly hair member before New Jeans Daniel showed up with it. Who is copying who? New Jeans looks like a debut group all over again. That bubble gum song is what you would give a new group. There is nothing relating to the girls as individuals. Lack of personality. I think it's best to wait until they have to both present more information and proof. There have been so many cases where I made up my mind, and I was so very wrong. I feel that whatever comes out of this situation, it's going to blow us all away
They gave that woman everything she needed to launch without her spending a dime or taking any risk. Even the money for her to buy shares (at 1/3 the price of Ador’s *initial* valuation - read dirt cheap) was paid for from money she borrowed from Bang PD. Now she’s poised to cash out $75million from HYBE in November if she’s not in jail by then (an *unheard of* vesting period that HYBE gave her) - AND she wanted to raise that to up to $200million. When BTS would be returning to the company they built, they would find the coffers empty. She kept saying “it’s not the money” but she has kept asking and renegotiating for more and more and more since day one. Then had the nerve to call it a slave contract? Because if a no compete as a shareholder? HYBE is simply trying to keep her from having the ability to attend inside meetings and take that knowledge to competitors.

Here’s my opinion. I do think MHJ is a great creator and has the ability to brand and market a concept to make trendy. I think Bang Pd liked her as a creator and brought her in for her abilities and that he also has a crush on her. For him to give her so much power in such a short time after branding HYBE, allowing her to take the highest floor for herself which should’ve went to BTS. Letting her have her own label Ador and even giving her a big budget to start it and promote new jeans, and even give her 18% shares of the company. Also, the nj members were trained in source under their expense. I get that she may be pissed off that Le Sserafim debut before NJ did and so she’s been mad since then and now with her seeing Illit’s debut as a copy of hers can be so maddening for her. What made me lose credibility with her is how she has involved BTS, LSF and Illit into her fight with HYBE and bang pd. And bang pd borrowed her the money and she got to use HYBE’s name and funding to get njs to where they are now. I do think there was truth to her wanting to leave HYBE with NJ and trying to plot a way out. I am not on either side of HYBE or MHJ, I’m on the artists side and what’s legal.
Both min heejin and Hybe (specifically bang pd) are in the wrong, bang of should’ve never taken in min heejin after she was dropped by SM aka Hybe’s competitor. That was a terrible decision. NJ is not the first to drop on debut day. SHINee was SM's experimental group and it was a huge success. Their debut was kept quiet and "Replay" is still copied by various groups to this day. Korean BTS fans are waging a courageous battle against Hybe. Hybe has already lost billions of won, and each of BTS has lost twenty billion won, due to the stock decline. This is a big victory for Korean BTS fans, who are not stupid and know how to harm their idols.
I don't side with any of them but HYBE is losing the public opinion war especially with Knetz. They have not shown any solid proof of their allegations to MHJ yet and MHJ always have a response to their allegations which the public favors more because they find it more "it makes sense". HYBE better up their game and bring in those documents when they go to court because the court has the final say on who wins and lose.

I don't think she's crazy, I think she's manipulative. This video ignored all the red flags of MHJ's own press conference. Sure, she's good at her job, and she knew exactly how to market herself and that press conference to gain sympathy and cause chaos. Why do you think her outfit sold out?
Besides the alarming way she talks about NJ (wanting them to only trust her, picking them young so they'll be loyal to her), to get a more balanced picture of this conflict I think it's also important to look at the financial side of things. She's not just a creative and employee, she's an executive who by her own words was paid twice as much as Hybe CEO Park Ji Won. And then also look at what she was asking for: even more money and exclusive rights to end NJ's contract, which would be key if she wanted to implement the "make Ador a shell" part of the takeover plan by cutting them loose.
This video left out a lot of information and seemed pretty slanted in MHJ's favour. Massive companies are gonna do massive company things, but I think you're letting your mistrust of companies and appreciation for NJ obscure your view of MHJ. I'm also worried for the NJ members just for the fact of the predatory way MHJ talks about them.

Min Hee Jin did the direction she is good at her job that is not in question and she was WELL PAID for doing HER JOB the reason she was employed in the first place but ADOR is still owned by Hybe with 80% and they could have kept 100% but they gave her 18% but her greed made her want it all without using her own money in the begining, that she should have started from scratch without Hybe from the beginning but she didn't
I would like to explain from the business side. Min Hee-jin may feel that her creation/product is being taken away from her, but this is not true. I'm not talking about plagiarism now, but about her sense of injustice and her desire to take away ADOR.
1. She is an employee in the company, everything that is created by an employee in the company belongs to the company, not the employee. This rule is in the contracts and generally everywhere possible.
2. An employee receives a salary for creating something for the company (= for work). Her salary is a reward for creating NewJeans. (plus she gets a share of the distributed profits as a shareholder)
3. NewJeans is, roughly speaking, an asset of HYBE company, which is financed from the company's liabilities: retained earnings, capital, loans and other liabilities. The company's liabilities for financing all projects now have been earned by the company over many years of operation.
If she wants to legally own ADOR, then
1. she needs to directly ask "can I buy ADOR?" and HYBE replied "yes you can, let's agree on a price." The purchase/sale price of the company will essentially be the sum of all the future cash flows of the company brought to date, and this is a lot of money.
2. Another option is that she can buy 32%+1 of the shares and get a controlling stake of 50%+1 (added to her 18%) and then she can make decisions about ADOR alone, but HYBE's consent is still required
3. All other ways to gain control of the company are ILLEGAL.
I think Min Hee-jin had a lot of creative control =) But if she wants to gain financial control that's just not possible in this case.

The expectation is for them to follow marketing steps that worked for BTS because they are targeting different markets. Min Heejin being the sloth she is, needs to beat down the competition to make her group look better than the rest. At the end of day, we have seen Min Heejin's limits. If you look at her career, she only did stuff for different artists once, and then she moves to a different one, because she cannot top herself. She does not know how to evolve. New Jeans looks like they are debuting again in this next release. Curly hair on Daniel is new~ish, but you see other idols were already having one curly hair member before New Jeans Daniel showed up with it. Who is copying who? New Jeans looks like a debut group all over again. That bubble gum song is what you would give a new group. There is nothing relating to the girls as individuals. Lack of personality. The shots are all "HEY look at my pretty face and dead eyes." It's so young black pink. Min Heejin is doing everything to make that one girl look like BP Jenny at every turn. New Jean pics are starting to look more and more expired BP. New Jeans so far lacks evolution. The lack of music to release says it all. Can you imagine saying something like that about bts. Hybe wants all their idols to evolve like BTS has. Here’s my opinion. I do think MHJ is a great creator and has the ability to brand and market a concept to make trendy. I think Bang Pd liked her as a creator and brought her in for her abilities and that he also has a crush on her. For him to give her so much power in such a short time after branding HYBE, allowing her to take the highest floor for herself which should’ve went to BTS. Letting her have her own label Ador and even giving her a big budget to start it and promote new jeans, and even give her 18% shares of the company. Also, the nj members were trained in source under their expense. I get that she may be pissed off that Le Sserafim debut before NJ did and so she’s been mad since then and now with her seeing Illit’s debut as a copy of hers can be so maddening for her. What made me lose credibility with her is how she has involved BTS, LSF and Illit into her fight with HYBE and bang pd. And bang pd borrowed her the money and she got to use HYBE’s name and funding to get njs to where they are now. I do think there was truth to her wanting to leave HYBE with NJ and trying to plot a way out. I am not on either side of HYBE or MHJ, I’m on the artists side and what’s legal.

Both min heejin and Hybe (specifically bang pd) are in the wrong, bang of should’ve never taken in min heejin after she was dropped by SM aka Hybe’s competitor. That was a terrible decision. And min heejin is in the wrong for taking the illegal route to make ador independent and then blaming ILLIT & Le sserafim to save herself. NJ is not the first to drop on debut day. SHINee was SM's experimental group and it was a huge success. Their debut was kept quiet and "Replay" is still copied by various groups to this day. She basically said everyone (including BTS) copied her. Who cares if girl groups wear the same style? She does not own it! That press conference didn't do her any favors. The bottom line is she doesn't own ADOR, Hybe does. They have every right to terminate her by law. She has done harm to both Hybe and other groups she threw under the bus. NJ will be fine with a new creator. They were already trainees under Hybe. She didn't recruit the girls herself. She's become a liability at this point. I don't side with any of them but HYBE is losing the public opinion war especially with Knetz. They have not shown any solid proof of their allegations to MHJ yet and MHJ always have a response to their allegations which the public favors more because they find it more "it makes sense". HYBE better up their game and bring in those documents when they go to court because the court has the final say on who wins and lose.

Since one of the members of NJ had the idea with no teasers Min Heejin was NOT the reason they blew up. They have a basic "fresh" concept. The only reason everyone had their eyes on them was the sudden drop of the songs. And the fact the mvs dropped on hybes youtube channel made them pop up for a lot of people. If they were from a nugu company no one would have known or seen. So its that one member plus hybe who made them popular.
