Untold Story by Raquel Welch in RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut, Wig Review, How to Relax and Trim Flips

This is a wig review of Untold Story by Raquel Welch in the color RL10/12, Sunlit Chestnut. Untold Story is an adorable, bouncy bob that is all about the long side swept bang and flipped ends. To make her my own, I relaxed the ends a bit with a hot air brush and trimmed a flip in the front. Untold Story has Tru2Life heat friendly synthetic fibers, an extended lace front, and a mono top. I'm including styling tips for how to keep the fibers out of the face. Lastly, I show Untold Story in outdoor lighting.

My head measurements are:
Circumference 22”
Ear to ear 12.25”
Forehead to nape 14.5”
Hairline to bottom of chin 7.25”

Hi Michele, l have seen a few bobs with the useless flips at the front and often felt like reaching into the screen and cutting them off,😅 l am so glad you did!😁 She doesn't need them and you transformed her into a gorgeous look. She is so cute with the headband. Cheers💙

Hi Michelle! I totally agree with you wanting to tame the flippy fronts. I’ve had wigs that have come like that. What a difference it makes and it’s really pretty easy to do. Thank you for the review on this one! One thought for you to consider for or to include in a future video - how you choose, cut, and place silk under a mono top. You’ve mentioned either secure it with tape or sew it or both? Pros? Cons? Does it roll? What happens when you wash your wig? Tips and tricks? Thank you!

That's a great idea, thanks!👍These days I just use the silicone tape. The only time I would prefer to use the silk is if I feel that the part or front hairline are so sparse that I'm afraid the tape would look too shiny and noticeable.💖

Is sunlight chestnut a cool tone or a warm tone.
I prefer warmer tones but it's hard to tell even in the sunshine! Is it warm or cool?

Thanks so much, Patricia!😊 I would say Sunlit Chestnut is a cool brunette color. If you are looking for a warm RW brunette, you might like RL5/27 Ginger Brown, RL6/30 Copper Mahogany, or RL8/29 Hazelnut. Hope this helps!💖
