I feel like Linda was just so excited that she didn't have to sing this song for the 1 millionth time and that Pink was doing such a bang up cover of it.
That's what I was thinking today, about the new Dolly Parton video so many years later.

This redition is truely great, Pink does an amazing job and Linda shows great showmanship. Not sure if everyone knows that Linda wrote "Get this Party Started". The two have shared a long relationship.

this is great. I love surprise performances. they can be quite amusing for the artists. sometimes missed words etc.. sometimes made up words and exaggerated but they don't miss a beat. sometimes the music can be great like this and funny at the same time. they had a good time doing this you can tell.

if you listen to Pink and watch how she likes to at times cut up and joke around on stage, but then it doesn't take too long to recognize just how EXTREMELY TALENTED this lovely young woman really is once she starts to unload that at times raspy,BEAUTIFUL voice! GO PINK, we love you!

It's 4:00 a.m., and this song is important to me. I auditioned for my mid-90s band w it when they said they wanted a guy only, I got it, we got signed. Of course, we were one in a sea of indies, but it was a lot of fun. Lol, but I'm so exhausted, we're 30 years on, I'm packing to move, my body is failing, and I thought it read "Inappropriate."

It's an insanely hard song. Perry is a freak and it is her song that comes from her heart. Pink's courage to do this is amazing. She did a great job and it is great to see both women having fun with it.
