I'm not sure if you mean corners when straight stitching or doing corners on an appliqué piece?

I have many raw end Applique that I have never quilted . All ready to go but unsure how to finish as they are fairly detailed.
Thought there was something funny happening with your hair.But it turns out that your cat is directly behind you at the beginning of the video. He was having a good wash. :-)
Why when I turn on my 9450 QCP machine & touch on decorative stitch icon, does it not bring up Appliqué option, onlyQuilt icon ?
I no longer have the 9450 but I'll try to give you a suggestion and that is to check to see which needle plate you have installed. You'll need to have the regular/zigzag needle plate installed to see appliqué and other decorative stitches on your machine.

Do I need to change tensions when using rayon threads?
Changing tension depends more on the weight of the thread than the content of it. Don't be afraid to adjust your tension if you aren't getting the results you want.
It would be very helpful for hearing impaired persons like myself if you can allow captions on your site. Many others do. I would like to engage in your videos more often, however, you speak quite quickly, although clearly, & your speed of narrative, I find difficult.
I hope you view this as both positive & helpful feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. I have tried doing subtitles on my videos but it takes extra time to set these up during the editing process and not many of my viewers prefer to have them on the videos so that is why I don't have them set up.
What needle size do you use
Usually an 80/12 but needle size depends on the size/weight of the thread that you are using.
Can these also be used on the 9400
Yes, you'll find these stitches on the 9400 as well.
Hi Kim I have a question re sewing machine feet for the 9450, I can’t find anything in my books for cording. Do you know if there is a foot available.
I believe there is a cording foot for this machine - I would check with your local Janome dealer who can help you with this. (I'm not a Janome retailer or representative).
