Out-of all the Universal Monsters they've released so far, this is my favorite i own. Beautiful figure with amazing head sculpt. The top hat and cape just complete the look. Neca knocked this one out of the park.
B&W is the way to go for Universal Monsters, wish they made Invisible Man and Phantom of the Opera as well in B&W
Dracula's always been one of my favorite monsters, yet I currently don't have any figures of him! I did have a BK toy of him back in the day, but that was lost to time. This new B&W version with a more dapper look is super cool! 🧛♂
This figure was a great addition to the Universal Monsters line!
I’ve gone exclusively for the black and white figures rather than the colour. I just prefer them. I just need the black and white version of The Invisible Man, hopefully that will be announced eventually.

I like how he has his neck sculpted onto his head.
It gives him a more natural look.

I have this, I mostly collect the colour versions of these figures, but I got this one because as you point out, you can swap heads and have 2 colour Drac's. I've had no issues with the cape. I also collect the Glow in the dark versions of these figures so I'll have 3 Dracula's (GitD Dracula is on it's way from NECA) I also have 2 Wolf-Man figures so I can have the Wolf man and Larry Talbot on display, Neca are doing great with these monsters I only hope they can get Dr Jeckyll/Mr Hyde and the Hunchback of Notre Dame...and maybe Dorian Grey?
Great review. It's a really nice figure. I really hope they do the Hammer versions of these characters. I need a Christopher Lee Dracula to go with Bela Lugosi. I doubt that's very likely though unfortunately.
I think they announced Christopher Lee’s Dracula and a Vincent Price figure!
Christopher Lee Dracula is set to release in 2024! Hopefully the first of many Hammer Horror figures!

I took the plastic cape off another Dracula figure and put it on my NECA figure.. Fit perfectly. I don't like fabric accessories. I took the plastc cape off a Mr Hyde figure and put it on my Phantom. I am trying to mimic the old Aurora monster models.

I haven’t bought a figure in years but I really want this standing between my Folio edition of Dracula and the new 4K Bram Stoker Dracula steelbook. The disappointing thing is I would’ve liked the other hands to all be wearing gloves for more options. They’re no use to me really because I want him wearing the gloves.
Honestly B&W should be the regular versions of the Universal Monsters and colour the variants.
B&W versions dont sell as well as the color versions do. Unless that changes, NECA will stick with what sells the best. I collect all versions including the GITD ones and the Lootcrate Burger King remakes, so it doesn't matter to me which ones are regular vs variants.

A great mix of figures is the regular neca Dracula with the count/grandpa from the monsters newish movie. Put the red grandpa cape on Dracula.
