this bridges the gap between the 16 bit and 32 bit eras nicely, later they put all these slow clunky animations in the game and made the gameplay feel less fluid. I like the pace of this game, wish they would've kept this and just fine tuned it and improved some graphical features instead of implemented all those awkward animations.
