Search google about the war. Did Vietnam defeat China in war?
The Chinese army caused huge damage to northern Vietnam while retreating that pushed the region into extreme deprivation. Both sides declared victory but the general consensus among scholars is that the Vietnemese outperformed the Chinese in the battlefield.@@zhongguotaiwans

The territorial scope of the Philippines is mainly composed of the 1898 Spanish-American Peace Treaty of Paris, the 1900 Spanish-American Treaty on the Cession of the Outlying Islands of the Philippines, and the 1930 Treaty on the Delimitation of the Boundary Between British North Borneo and the American Philippines. 》Delimited and restricted to the east of the 118th east longitude. The above scope was later reconfirmed by the 1935 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines and the 1961 Act Concerning the Determination of the Baselines of the Territorial Sea of the Philippines (Act No. 3046 of the Republic of the Philippines). These treaties and Philippine domestic laws have determined that the boundary of the Philippines' territorial scope is the 118th east longitude, and the territory to the east is the Philippines' territory. China's Nansha Islands and Scarborough Shoal are located west of the 118th parallel. Official maps of the Philippines before the 1970s did not include any South China Sea islands or reefs at all.
I don’t understand that as a weak country in the Philippines, politicians do not solve the major domestic problems of drugs, corruption, and poverty, but instead rely on inspiring nationalism to deceive the people and challenge the sovereignty of other countries. There is no hope for such a country!

Sure as a Filipino I'll be willing to sacrifice my life for my country. We never bully anyone, we NEVER claim what is never ours. We're always friendly and happy people but we won't tolerate disrespect and bullying. China is not only disrespecting international laws but also our Philippine Constitution. Better lose a fight trying to protect my country than to keep a close eye on china's bullying.
