Jaime took the fight on short notice, actually weighed in 1 lb less than Ali. All the credit to the Mexican warrior.

I remember Errol Spence was in attendance to call out Ali after. He wanted to move up to 154 cause nobody at 147 wanted to fight him at the time. He never called Munguia out

Tim Bradley did a horrible job commentating this fight he sounded so upset after munguia won and the way he was complaining about Munguia being bigger throughout the whole fight knowing Munguia was a last minute replacement on a two week notice. Great performance by Munguia
The one time Munguia came in lighter than his opponent and it's the one time he gets criticized for being a weight bully.
Those talking about a mismatch, before the fight Ali was the favorite and was heavier at the fight time

Munguia 152 3/4 vs Ali 153 at weigh in . Boxing rules do not dictate how much a boxer can hydrate by fight time. Recently, this "but he's the bigger guy" has become an excuse for some losers. Munguia was offered the fight. He jumped on it and he did so as well on Ali. Give Jaime some credit. I'd like to see a rematch.

Hmmm. Did anyone say that Bivol was too big for Canelo. ? Not at all. In fact they criticized him. Canelo was at one point in his career was a lightweight. Dude went up to fight a light heavyweight, and the only reason he lost was because he couldn’t reach Bivol. Not once was Canelo ever close to being knock down much less knocked out. It’s sad that Canelo didn’t get credit for fighting a much larger boxer. Mayweather would have never ever attempted doing this.

Most times size matters most but skill and power is also important. Rocky Marciano came up from middleweight and was a small heavyweght compared to natural heavyweights and beat them all retiring undefeated 49-0!
Hated seeing Ali on the other side in this fight, sad way to go but he gave it all he had.
