Honestly I know a lot of people hate the 589 BUT at least it's still a nose truck! Everyone is doing plastic Aero trucks and fckin Tesla shit lol. At least Peterbilt is still building long nose trucks. It's better than the rest of the crap coming out of factories these days.

I think that 589 will look a lot better with an aftermarket steep drop visor and matching window chops to hide that huge fckn windshield and those ridiculously huge side windows...all that co*ks*ckn fckn glass is awful....right man?? :D

I have been that way many times. The speed limit is somewhat lower part of the way. The speed limit is lower for a reason there has been lots of trucks that have crashed into the center barrier. Some parts of the roadway was forty mph.
@OTRBandit That is exactly right. There was lots of rubber marks and scrape marks on the center barrier and also on the roadway. That speed limit was all I felt safe doing with dry van and step deck flatbed. It's absolutely a road to always be extremely cautious on. Then going down th east bound steep mountain portion is another part of the road to go very cautious on . Then going west bound climbing the steep mountain is another interesting road way. Be safe
Tires have gone to hell in a hand basket In the last eight years. Been running a stinger car hauler for 23 plus years... Figured out a long time ago.. season the drive tires on the tractor and rotate them back to the trailer. What they call all position works fine.. but you've got to keep the positions moving and don't Change rotation direction. Expensive labor?? Yup.. Still worth it to buy a decent tire and put maintenance into them... Honestly... This is trucking 2024... You're gonna get screwed in the end chasing dollars...
Tires have gone through the roof brother. I have 24.5 on my truck but will be replacing wheels and everything soon to 22.5 because 24.5 are pretty pricey and really hard to come by. Some tire manufacturers don’t even make 24.5 anymore.
Not the best experience there honestly. But can’t expect better from these food distributors. Blue shoes to match the truck 🤣🤣 but I hate these. Thank you very brother. You have a great weekend 🙏🏼
