Suzy, did you notice that Saitama protected Blizzard by standing in the way of Genos' blast? You'll notice it when you look at the ground and see that Blizzard was in the only area not destroyed by the blast - because Saitama stood in the way.
The frame where he's standing in front of her, and the two ground craters creating a V-shape looks so sick. Like that's how I wanna be protected.
If you don't recall, Garou was mentioned in season 1, as one of Silver Fang's students. That one that went on a rampage and beat all of the other students up.
Just FYI Garou hasn't actually killed anyone despite what it seems.
Also the creator did confirm at this point Genos and Sonic were the same level
People keep saying that in order to make excuses for the psychopath, as if maiming, mutilating, and dismembering isn't bad enough, but Garou himself puts his kill count at 100, and I've seen no evidence that he's never killed anyone.

@@damarion7923 How do you know? Just because you've not seen him kill anyone doesn't mean he hasn't killed anyone, even if he hasn't it's still only by pure luck, Mumen Rider should be dead, Garou thought he killed them.
This defense of "he didn't actually kill anyone" reeks of a mother saying their child is really a good boy after it's discovered he's been wearing the skinsuits of his victims.
Garou is a psychopath and a bully, period, he's the most classic example of a schoolshooter I've ever seen, suffering from a victim complex and delusions of grandeur.

@@morpheus0951being in the OPM community for around 6 years now I could safely you are WRONG. Saitama is mostly shipped with Genos and then comes Tatsumaki. Genos and Tatsumaki aren't being "usually shipped" (there are like 5 fanarts of the 2 lmao).

You seemed a bit confused, Sonic and Genos met on the balcony of Saitama's house and fought around the neighborhood at the same time, a Blizzard delegation came to Saitama, so they did not meet immediately
It’s actually funny knowing Saitama doesn’t even notice him but yet beat him down three times before realizing who he is

A little late but a fun fact about the manga Saitama was reading when Blizzard was telling him and Genos her story, it was called Sun Man and it was a manga that ONE, the creator or One Punch Man made when he was young. The manga was obviously never published as it was just something he worked on as a kid, but the protagonist's name was Taiyo Man. However, at the end of his manga Taiyo Man was defeated and killed by a being who was too strong for him, and the was none other than the leader of the pirate band, Dark Matter, Lord Boros. That ties in not only with Boros' backstory but also the length of time it took for Boros to reach Earth where he was finally defeated by Saitama. That was what ONE said in an interview anyway. Not sure if you knew or not, but is cool nevertheless.

He's not evil. His personal goals go against the hero association. But they are not all selfless do gooders. You have to ask yourself is the name HERO what makes a hero or his actions?
@@fjparasite1172 yeah, but he's a misguided bully who bullies heroes because they are popular and he was bullied by popular people and popular systems. And he committed the greatest sin of them all - smashed the true hero Mumen Rider's head again and again and nearly killed him. His ideals are right, but he is hurting both the poser heroes, as well as the true heroes. He likes monsters, but he doesn't like evil, doesn't kill people and saves kids. He is like a powerful confused dude, who hates the system so much that he challenges everyone in the system just to prove his point, a point in which he has internal conflicts all throughout the manga.
I understand where he is coming from, but I hate his methods. And I lost all empathy for him, the moment he nearly killed "Mumen Rider", and kept on smashing his head, just because he can. NOT COOL.

I also find season 2's animation more than fine, granted I am no expert on the matter but if it was horrific I would have noticed. It's just less flashy. Plus the plot grows exponentially with so much foreshadowing for future seasons, overall amazing season.

Yeah, the rankings are pretty much meaningless, but the heroes are all fixated on it as if moving up one is the difference between life and death. Even the MHA aren’t as vane as that.

Silver Fang mentioned in Episode #1-10 that Garou was his top student, but went wild. They even showed a picture of him. Saitama reaches rank B-7. Genos calls Sonic a "pervert" because Sonic was naked in the street the only time they had ever met, in Episode #1-08. Saitama protects Blizzard from the first explosion, as she was trying to take his head off. Genos and Sonic are evenly matched. Would Genos's second explosion have finished off Sonic? Blizzard is 23, Tornado is 28, Saitama is 25, and Genos is 19. Saitama's hero name is "Caped Baldy", which is the name he specifically said he didn't want in Episode #1-05.

Hi first time ive posted I really enjoy your reactions. If you really like "One Punch Man" I think you will enjoy "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime" anime as well, I would also recommend "Overlord" anime if you wont something Darker and more serious but still with plenty of funny moments.

Flashbacks to Mosquito girl
While Saitama represents the IDEAL hero, someone who does it because he wants it, someone who doesn't neccesarily wants fans, sometimes not even recognition.
Fubuki could represent the fear of some heroes to be considered useless because of other stronger heroes, because they know their limits and, like every human being, are afraid to die in battle. That's why she made a group of other heroes weaker than her. If they are in a group, as a team they can defeat enemies, but also she is doing a bad practice, she has envy of her older sister and that's why she is desperate to be considered the best in something.
Amai Mask represents, in a negative way, the hero who thinks only the most powerful ones have the right to aim for the top class in S rank, the elites. He wasn't totally wrong when he said it in the las chapter of season one, that he stays in class A so he can stop anyone not strong enough to enter into the Class S who he thinks only the strongest should be.
When you get done with OPM, I think you should take a look at the anime "Bofuri: I don't want to get get hurt so I'll MAX out my defense" It's a great anime.

If a great anime doesn't have great animation or if it has below average animation, the toxic people will most likely do something terrible or blame the animators or other staff members in a studio.

Amai Mask is soooo strong, he hasn't showen his full power in the anime yet, and he could even compet and even defeat some of the S class heors, remember though he is rank 1 in his class A so he could easily go up to class S of he wants to, but he decided to not, one reason is for he is one of the guys that determain who should move up through classes and other reasons that i don't want to spoil about 😉

The one who agrees with you about heroes ranking is Amai Mask, not Saitama (who enjoys ranking up). That's why he's stopped at Class A Rank 1. He wants to stop any more heroes ranking up to Class S, which according to him, already full of low quality heroes.

Well, Amai Mask is an interesting character too... if you judge the class S heroes just by their names you can recall why a person like Amai Mask will try to stop A class to get to S class. First at all he is an idol the opposite of many of the S class characters who are just stronger than A class but they have bad traits related to the public and publicity, per example "Pig God" or "Metal bat" and his personality, or even Puri Puri prisoner which literally ended in jail cause the misconduct... even Tornado personality is terrible -.- so, it's easy to understand why Amai Mask rank A number 1 hero will try to stop those "bad" heroes to reach the top rank and just let "good" heroes reaching the top...
Also, all of the heroes, or almost all of them believe or not do the same as Saitama, of course they didn't have the level of Saitama, but all of them are worried about "saving people" cause that they are heroes, even people lile the Blizzard gang and Fubuki, even the Tank Top Tiger who atleast fought agains the imposible versus the Sea King at season 1... even Sneak the lower class 1 still have the same feeling, but you must consider that the monster ranks mean something, Sneak is the lowest class A in rank because that he knows that he has a serious limit of what he can do, and what he can't. There is a great difference between a low tier monster "Crabby guy" per example, and others like the "Mosquito girl" which is literrally one of the strongest like Kabuto or the Giant from the season 1. There is a extreme exponential power level scale within the monsters, even the class A - Amai Mask within the heroes, he is really strongest than any other A class. Which was said at season 1 by him at the end of the season. (some monsters like the season 1 Mosquito, Kabuto or the Giant you can't have a serious power comparison cause they fought Saitama, but those monster were absolutelly strong, Genos believe it or not is a strong hero... but he fought and loses against the "strongest" monsters of One Punch)
The same goes for Garou too... the criminals are low tier enemies, and he defeated easily A class heroes, in conclusion the power scales are way too exponentials... of course Saitama shows the rest. LUL

The hilarious part of Saitama vs Fubuki is she pales in comparison to the psychic octopus dude from season 1. She had nothing to hurt him with, wven words
