    Could you please tell us or provide links to the materials you used? I love your content!

      sorry I have no links cause I bought everything in physical stores here in Korea. I think Alice's Collections should have supplies like strings, s-hooks, silicone donut and string puller too:

    I’m sculpting my own but I never understand how to sculpt the joints. Like if there’s a specific way I need to sculpt the slits in the joints or a certain way to hollow them out.
    If you have any guides for that it would be awesome!

      I am not a sculptor, so I can’t help you. Maybe there are tutorials for sculpting here on RUclips… you should search for it. I am not the right person to answer this question. ☺️

    Great video, for this video what size are the s hooks that you used?

      Thank you. 🙏 The s-hooks already came with the doll and most yosds have this size of s-hooks. It’s a standard size. ☺️

    I am interested in trying to adapt this doll for a String Marionette Puppet - do you think this is possible? how difficult would it be to add tiny eye-hooks for the strings? what is the doll made of? Please and thank you

      Depending on the quality of the doll it can range from porcelain to plastic. If you have a 3d printer it would be fairly easy to find a file to print or to make your own model for your needs

    Can u tell us why the wire? all dolls has it? or its a personal choice? tell me please!

    • @LunaMikkelsenBJD
      @LunaMikkelsenBJD  8 месяцев назад

      Not sure which wire you mean…
      the thin wire is used yo guide the elastics through all the resin parts. Wire in this case is necessary otherwise you won’t be able to push the elastics through the small holes.
      And the wires in the legs is a choice for this specific doll. Some dolls can’t pose very well, so wiring in arms and legs help with posing (silicone rings or hot glue sueding are an alternative way to help with better posing)

    Is it alright to reuse the old elastics from the doll? It's quite hard to get your hands on elastics where i'm at.

      Hi, thank you for your question. As long as the elastics are still strong, you can re-use it of course. Sometimes elastics just get very weak and kinda dry after a few years… I mean it’s not really elastic anymore but rather like a threat which makes it hard to string the doll and pose it. If you don’t have a doll shop in your city or country, you should ask at fabric shops or diy supplies shops for elastics. I hope this helps ☺️🫶
