Nice interpretation,, but I want point out a correction.
Sec.299 IPC amounts to CH (culpable homicide) only
Sec 300 says when CH amounts to M (murder) and not amounts to murder though the ingredients of murder is there
Hence, what you said is not correct i.e. you said Section 299 is divided into CH and M. it is not correct
Section 299 amounts to CH only.

Husband and Wife, Husband doesn't like his in-laws and never allowed his Wife to meet her parent, Wife with her child somehow managed to meet her parents without the knowledge/consent of her Husband, this was continued several months, one occasion the Wife was caught by the Husband while returning from her parents home, he thrashed her as if murdering her. After few days again the Wife went to her parent's home along with her child without the knowledge/consent of her Husband. This time Husband caught her red-handed while stepping out of her parent's house.
1) by seeing her Husband out of fear and panic Wife jumped along with the child which was kept on her shoulder into a well, Wife survived but the child died.
2) by seeing her Husband out of fear and panic Wife jumped along with the child unmindful of the fact that the child was tied on her back into a well, Wife survived but the child died.
3) by seeing her Husband the Wife threatened her husband of jumping into the well along with the child, she jumped into the well along with the child, Wife survived but the child died.
Whether the act of the Wife in all the given circumstances amounts to Murder or Culpable Homicide or any other offense? Or which one is Murder or Culpable Homicide or any other offense?
Note: Murder- If the person committing the act knows that it is so imminently dangerous that it must, in all probability, cause death, or such bodily injury as is likely to cause death, and commits such act without any excuse for incurring the risk of causing death or such injury as aforesaid.(Sec-300 IPC)
